Leatherneck, if you're not interested in making the MiG-21 Lancer or Bison a future mod, would you consider modifying the Bis so that it can carry the AA-11 Archer with the helmet-mounted electro-optical sights? Only on the limited production MiG-23S because the new radar was late with development, but it was always intended to have a new radar and new BVR missiles. Think about upgrading a plane as multiple variations? I believe this they should actually instead of making everyone update to a rather newer version, but to rather make a free update for the backers and then have a 5-15 dollar upgrade for people who have the older cold war era MiG-21. That way people can choose rather to fly the old one or the updated one through whatever era the mission is taking place in.:) ~C. In any case, I'd love to see a few MiG-21 variants. An early PF or PFM for 1960's, the current Bis for '70's and 80's and a 93/97/2000/Bison/Lancer for modern.
