Would love to take advantage of this sale so I could finally buy the last module I'm intersted in, the Mig-15. Unfortunately, I don't have the extra $30 to spend on "frivolous" purchases at the moment and will have to wait until the next one comes around... It sucks being mostly unemployed sometimes... lol

Hang in there! The summer sales will be there soon enough ;) (and you may have a chance to buy an updated module).

I don't even have the time to fly that wonderful MiG-15 myself…

I need some serious deal on "spare time". I'd like to buy bundles of them.

Can I buy one of these as a gift for someone?

You can.

You will need to unbinded the aircraft from your account via Licensing and forward it to the account of your friend.

It's hard to answer. The F-86 for sure because it has the professional flight model (PFM) while the Hawk and C101 only have the standard flight model (SFM) right now. The standard flight model does not feel very realistic and you'll notice it the most in ground handling, landing/takeoff, and flight departures (stalls and spins). Both the Hawk and the C101 will definitely have a professional flight model when they come out of beta. But you may be waiting a while for that. So, that being said, maybe the F-86 is the best choice for you right now and you can get one of the trainers down the road. ED has several sales a year so you shouldn't have to wait to long for another chance to buy a trainer.

3rd party planes for DCS have EFM (External Flight Model), whilst planes made by DCS feature the PFM (Professional Flight Model).

belsimtek, seem to be working in co-operation with DCS and run the PFM

certainly, there are some very good goodies on sale atm...

No. Steam had a sale from the 26 to 30 March.

Excellent, saved me from buying more things before I have mastered the Sabre and Huey :music_whistling:

Got myself the Mig-15bis and the Bf-109K. Don't have a clue when I'll find the time to become familiar and capable in either of these two aircraft as I am STILL trying to get my head around all the strengths and weaknesses of the F-86F, P-51D, and of course the voluminous amount of knowledge one must have to operate ALL the systems in the A-10C. But I will keep acquiring these modules because as I told my wife, Eagle Dynamics (DCSW) is the ONLY waterhole in the desert for those of us who want reasonably accurate flight simming, so I will support them financially even if I may not avail myself of each of their offerings. Thanks ED!!

If ED adds a "BUY ALL AVAILABLE MODULES" button on the module manager or the main screen, I'm sure many people will succumb to impulse. (possibly including me)

Shhh....! If they did that, so many of our wallets would simply implode! It's hard enough resisting with all those Buy buttons on the web page.

Very funny I was thinking exactly the same. The kids don't mind eating peanut butter, the wife will get used to it ;)

Joking aside, I am happy to say that my collection is now completed, got the two trainers, the black shark and the mig-15 and I would say the mig surpasses my thoughts in terms of quality. I just hope Belsimtek finishes everything they started soon, I'm the kind of guy who likes to read the manuals that comes with the products.

I'm glad to be able to help the developers even though I don't have much time to enjoy this sim. Can't wait for what's coming up!

So which one is correct?

The one where, when you click "buy now" and it tells you what you paid. That one is always correct. Never wrong, that one.

Lol

Great sale

Very pleased.

I'm looking for some advice on what others think would be a good purchase for me at this point. Don't want to let this sale slip by without grabbing a couple modules.

Committed to the MI-8 already @ $15 and am wanting to keep it at $15 since I want it all eventually, minus the divorce. So.

Now I'm between getting the Sabre or the Huey.

My currently purchased modules are as follows:

P-51D

BF-109 K4

KA-50

A-10C

Flaming Cliffs 3

Thanks for your input.
