Time for some DCS World 2, WWII love ;)

I'm having an awesome time flying the FW 190 D-9, so much fun and really rewarding - despite the fact that I'm mostly a Cold War/Modern jets kinda guy.

Can't wait for the Spitfire and P-47D! Just looking at the DCS2 improvements seen in the Caucasus - the Normandy map will probably be beautiful. Great sightseeing in addition to the fighting.

Thanks again.

:)The Future of DCS is a bright one:)

 Looks great. Now, if we'd just get some groundpounding machines at some point...

The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.

More excited about this than I was about Cliffs of Dover (if that's possible). The video looks great, and more realistic than any other sim. :D

Yep, it looks really great! I'm glad that we can see frequent previews of DCS World 2 lately. I guess it means that it's in final stage of development. :)

Whatever that means to ED... :dunno:, but seriously it is encouraging.

The old fighter adage "lose sight, lose the fight" may actually be true now in DCSW2 or should I say DCSWWII? :smilewink:

I don't need no stinkin' GPS! (except for PGMs :D) :pilotfly:

So I was reading "DCS World 2 Preview – WWII Air Combat", but does he mean by this-->

This-->

Early access to the current DCS World 2 build included NTTR (Nevada Test & Training Range) and a most interesting selection of aircraft.

What do you suppose he means?

Especially since:

Being an insatiable DCS enthusiast

So I doubt that he is unfamiliar with the current stable of DCS modules. Hmm...:music_whistling:

Yes, I've read the Wags post about seeing things in grilled cheese...but I haven't found a better way to keep grilled cheese interesting. :D

I like to keep hoping for additonal good things after the release of DCS2...shortly after that is! :)

The main thread is here:

The current selection of aircraft can already be called "a most interesting selection of aircraft" and being an insatiable DCS enthusiast is perfectly normal :pilotfly:.

I don't think there's more than that. Maybe we'll get a surprise or two but I would not build a hype on that, I don't want to be over-thrilled ;)
