Just a heads up - looks like the semi-transparent bort numbers bug has been fixed in 1.5.5 OB at last. Now they display correctly on both default and Skate's skins.

I submitted a ticket for it, I'm glad they fixed it. Even the 21 looks better now

Yeah it was a decal/specular layer issue, not related to skins but the shader itself or texture map channel priority,

 

Either way it's fixed.

I plan to upload updates to all of my skins before year end, and hopefully template.

 

FJ3 VF-84 Set

-Redone/Re-Aligned Leading Edge Chrome

-Adjusted some Decals

-Adjusted Speculars

(if other FJ3 Liveries are done, I'll merge them into this pack)

 

Camo 5 Pack Set

-Adjusted Speculars

-Adjusted Decals

-Adjusted Colors Slightly

-Likely to Include a 6th Camo to Round Off the Pack.

 

Active Duty Metal Set:

-Adjusted Speculars

-Removed FU-584 MMM Decal from Starboard Side (Was only on Port Side)

-Adjusted some MISC Details

 

WIP Polished Show Set:

Same as Active Duty Set, Minus Dirt and Weathering.

 

The issue right now is my ISP has been having problems locally with internet gateways, as my server stack is still offline and my home account is extremely messed up.

Yes, so much may be affected by the introduction of ver 2.5 but your great skins will be worth waiting for until then. Now that were close to 2.5 it makes me start to worry again about all my missions going SNAFU.

Well, it's mainly a time issue at the moment,

 

Belsimtek released their Official template,

So I'm Likely going to Merge My Liveries into that PSD Eventually,

 

But at the moment I already have the 2 VF-84, the 5 Camos (plus likely 2 or 3 more 2 tone versions), done in my updated template, w/ only weathered and polished versions needing to be updated and tweaked.

I'm Also still tweaking the specular for the camo's.

SZGS Update:

F-86F Work Continues, and Making the Liveries PBR Ready,

I currently have:

-8 Digital Map Camos w/ USA Markings (All New)

-8 Splat Map Camos w/ USA Markings (4 Updated, 4 New)

-6 Bare Metal Weathered (Revised and Updated)

-2 VF-84 Mock Ups (Possibly a 3rd Low Vis Mock Up)

 

Once I Finalize the Bare Metal Weathered Liveries I Will do the Polished/Show Versions of the same ones.

 

I want to do 2 more for 51stFW, but so far, reference material with high enough resolution to re-draw by layer is hard to come by.

 

So When Ready, There will be:

A New Digital Camo Pack,

A Updated Spat Camo Pack,

A Updated VF-84 Pack,

A Updated Bare Metal Weathered Pack,

And a New Polished Metal Pack.

 

After the F-86F Liveries are all Released Work will continue on the F-5E AIDC Livery (Revising some items and converting it to PBR Ready) Before Putting on DCS Website.

AS well as Working on the Super Hornet AI Project.

I limit my Public Liveries to those that I can get decent hi-res photo's of to re-draw any custom decals etc.

I have over 90 Liveries done for the F-86F, with a Majority of them being privately used Demo Team Liveries.

 

If You have a specific one, I'll look into it,

 

I did look at some NJ ANG Pix, but couldnt get a full 360° picture (top bottom both sides, etc).

 

 

Also,

For Clarification, these wont be released Until after DCS 2.5.

 

Once I finish other Priority work this week (Voice Acting, 3D Renders for Movies, etc),

Work will move towards the AIDC Tiger Skin and Getting that one PBR Ready, and then Moving back to Super Hornet Work.

I have the PBR Ready F-86F Skins on Google Drive until PBR and Deferred are integrated into all branches.

 

This Weekend I'll Upload a newer Dump Folder to Google Drive w/ some adjustments and post the link, they will only work with 2.1 NTTR and Normandy, trying to use them in 1.5 will look very AWKWARD.

Still Tweaking the Weathered Liveries a bit based on feedback, as well as fixing some minor issues.

 

I tend to upload a new dump of my liveries every week or so.

 

Once 2.5 is out and I've finished making changes, I'll do the Marketing GFX and Upload new packs to Users Files.

Hello Skate.

 

What does it entail to make a livery PBR ready? Are there additional / alternate textures?

Will we have to update/rework all our 1.5 liveries in order to work in Normandy/DCS 2.5?

Just an Update,

I have been working on the textures on the back burner, however they will not be fully released on the DCS Stie until the F-86F is Converted to use RoughMet Maps instead of Specuar + JSON.

 

Due to the Output and Contrast Ratios of the JSON File making the visual appearance look unnatural.
