Schmidtfire Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 Those renders are quite old. Just because that it exist out there, doesn't mean that you should post it on the ED forums for the world to see.
Snail Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 Amazing detail! And when it is visible on the website, I don't really see a problem in linking to it. How (s)low can you go
Harry.R Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 Those renders are quite old. Just because that it exist out there, doesn't mean that you should post it on the ED forums for the world to see. Given the lack of information or pictures of the Viggen project...why not? Looks very good imho.
scaflight Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 Google is amazing...and I'm not joking. http://www.leatherneck-sim.com/HUD.jpg Agreed. It is BEAUTIFUL! :) I hope it also runs reasonably well, but I will upgrade to fully experience this work! -Nick Someone's been scratching on the adhesive paper - top middle - and it's such a tiny detail, but a real hint at the love and affection of whoever did the texturing. It's god damned leatherneckian by this point. If I didn't have such high expectations, you could very well call me a fanboy. :)
grunf Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 The amount of details and texture quality is amazing. Hope it doesn't melt my pc. :D

shaggy Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 (edited) I know this is not an AJS or a video from leatherneck. Still it's a completely fresh video from a guy who is paying tribute to his father who flew JA-37 viggens, amongst other fighter aircraft. Should keep viggen fans happy for today at least. The text from the facebook page the video was posted on: NOSTALGI-FREDAG! BravoYankee4 Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 I would assume that is because of the "mandatory" Top Gun soundtrack used in the video. There should be a muted version ;)
BravoYankee4 Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 The latest issue of this swedish magazine is also adding to the hype :)
Lupson Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 Awesome video, thanks for posting! Probably the first-ever HUD-footage I've seen from an JA37 doing what seems to be actual ACM. Another thing - doesn't the JA37 actually seem to have quite decent roll rate? Any numbers previously posted in this thread that I've missed? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Pocket Sized Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 Alright knowing LN the livestream will go like this: Opening visuals straight from windows movie maker including obligatory "sample text." Royalty free music begins playing. A watermark saying "unregistered hypercam" is visible on the top center of the screen. Quality is between 144 and 240p. It cuts to a cluttered desktop. A very laggy mouse cursor slowly moves to the task bar and opens notepad. Very slowly they begin typing in notepad. At least 1.5 seconds of delay between each letter. Soon Stream ends. Three weeks later the Viggen drops while LN pretends the live stream never happened. DCS modules are built up to a spec, not down to a schedule. In order to utilize a system to your advantage, you must know how it works.
