What ?!? I really dont see a reason for that?!? Keep in mind how often you have to switch the salvo length in a flight.

fairly regularly. I never launch Vikhrs in pairs, unless i am shooting at T-90s or M-1s, But I almost always launch S-8s in sets of 5. I also toggle the cannon between 10 and 20 round burst depending on my desired effect on target.

God no ... not AGAIN a pointless wishlist thread ... All these ideas came up already in ... 2008? And were repeatedly posted in every "what's next", "can we please ...?", etc. thread ever since.

"RWR? Please!?", "MWS asap per favor!", "FLIR would be cool", "A2A, wyh u no have it!?", etc. etc. You name it ...

OPs question was, if there is anything KNOWN about some new stuff for the BS, NOT what you and I would LIKE to see. (answer is: nope.)

The Salvo length is only a limiter and you know of that.

You can fire a pair of S8 Rockets or a single Vikhr also in long salvo mode.

Same counts for the Gun.

You have simply to lift your fingers from Gun trigger or Weapons release button early enough.

Or, I can decide before I begin my attack run how I wish to arrange my salvo, and set switches accordingly.

Who are you to say my method is wrong? The function is there for a reason, I use it.

Sorry i did not give any offence to you and i also didnt say your method is wrong.

Iam only saying that this is such an unimportant thing to change, simply because its easy manageable for everybody currently in two different ways.

I also use the salvo settings to preset my attack, sometimes I adjust whilst in the attack run. Sometimes I need to adjust much quicker due to poor planning or observation and at these moments a fella simply needs to click a switch and be on his way... full salvo or die.

Fair enough, no offense taken.

As to why ED would do this: It may be a fairly small change, but it is one that is easy to make (so easy, that there is even a thread around here somewhere detailing how to do it as a user mod). It would take a developer only an hour or two to go through and give all the shark switches discrete on/off binding options, in addition to the existing toggle binds. It gives users with sticks featuring momentary toggles, such as the X52 and X55, the option to bind switches in a way that allows full confidence of flipping a switch and knowing where it will be set without having to remember where it had been set.

There is a higher resolution cockpit available in the user files section as well as some other mods, but nothing in the way of black shark 3 as far as I know.

We have a bunch of people here, they rejecting this idea like the devil the holy water.

I thought about it why, i think they want see ED working on new modules.

But its not fair for those People who love to fly the Blackshark.

I got the same opinion, Blackshark Needs a patch. One of the easiest and realy importent Thing to fix is the unrealistic Trim behavior. A good example how to fix this is the Huey, they have add 1 second to bring the Stick back to neutral Position bevor the stick reacts again. That's not too much.

Yes i want MWS, Chaff and maybe RWR too, but that's holy water :censored:

IMHO BS2 doesn't need any update, instead he need "some" fixes.

I've almost forgot how is it to fly with a working Collective Brake (Hold the handle for altitude change).

The Abris doesnt allow any advanced function on the flight plan.

So now it has turned into slinging mud at those who wish for improvements. May as well close the thread. I agree above we could use those fixes and the pvi-800 needs to be fixed as stated in bugs thread.
