I would like to see ALL of the aircraft which were flying in the hundreds and thousands, between 1939 and 1945, to ALL be developed, before the development of a single, new, rare Wunderwaffe/Super-Weapon is started.

I don't know how the P-38 could not be done. Just about everybody wants one right now, and back then the sentiment wasn't that different.

I want a Ykaovlev Yak-3

I'm seriously puzzled why ED isn't developing a Yak-3. This was, as far as I know, the most feared Soviet fighter in WW2 and certainly deserves to be there because it made a real impact on the outcome.

I would buy it.

That is without a doubt the lovely Do-335. If I remember correctly, it was one of the fastest, if not the fastest prop driven aircraft of WWII but saw very limited combat action.

I'm really disappointed in myself because I can't remember who exactly but ED has already made some WWII Russian fighter cockpits a couple of years back and a dude posted his work on Deviant art. He also had some images of the Me 262 cockpit already completed. However this was way back so who knows if some of the work is obsolete or not but that's what I remember. I don't remember exactly though so don't quote me on it.

Only combat the Do335 saw was development a/c running from Allied airplanes.

It had a big problem with the rear engine overheating.

It has been said the the K-4 was chosen because of the wealth of data available so one has to question how much data is available for these oddball airplanes.

How about p-63 King cobra. Why this plane is underestimated in America?

Because it did nearly nothing for the US. Most of them went to USSR and the airplane was unsatisfactory as a high-altitude escort fighter which was a plane that USAAF doctrine needed for their Strategic bombing campaigns.

Yes, but it is a plane that has very little significance for the US compared to the likes of P-38, P-47 and P-51 which all made a great contribution (depending on a theater)

I'd mostly like to see RAF fighters like the Typhoon, and the Mosquito FB VI.

A multi crew bomber <3

VEAO wI'll eventually be doing a Lancaster. It's not easy first they have to work out how the sim will use 2 prop engines that's why the mosquito and a couple of other planes are coming first before they tackle four engines.

A Lancaster would be freaking awesome! And if the map did include Lincolnshire we could have Scampton and the bomber training school at Hemswell.

I would personal hope, after release of the P-47 planes developing for the Normandy map speeds little bit up after we getting now solid base Planes to make some addition Spit from 1942 Channel fight FW-190 A3-A8 and 109 subtypes.

I would definitely love to have a twin engine or six of them... Me-410A/B Hornesse, Hs-129B-2, B-26B Marauder, He-219A Uhu, Mosquito FBVI, Beaufighter MkVI. We need more Heavy Fighters, Fighter-Bombers, Nightfighters and Level bombers to start to flesh out the WWII era.

Truly superior pilots are those that use their superior judgment to avoid those situations where they might have to use their superior skills.

Yeah twin engine heavy fighters and bombers seem the obvious thing to do in terms of new planes. It would help flesh out the theatre. And I say this as someone who only really flies single engine fighters.
