Hello cubanace,

thanks for your amazing work ! I have a question, it look's like the cockpit is from ML version while the fuselage is more MF, is this intended ?

Another thing, please be correct and write MiG, not Mig, so as it is since the late 1930's :)...

many greetings and keep on working !

In the end the fuselage should be more like MLD, because is the 23-98 version what he is modelling.

his is for the Mig-23 as well as for the Mig-27...

are those old 3D models ? (former CMD models)

if yes, then you need an experienced modder who can flip the UWV map on the wrong side ;)

MIG-23 98 Update.

OK here is a little update on the Current MIG-23 98 Flogger.

3d model update.

The new MIG-23 Model is not 100% finished by the 3d artist, while the front of the cockpit might be complete !there are other parts that need work and to be history correct.

I been gathering documents to make this MIG-23 as realistic as possible within the limitations i have.

Best regards cubanace.

I noticed atleast on your youtube a lot of footage on the Su-17, is that project now taking priorty over the 23-98?

Su-17 and MIG-23 are two Different Models and the MIG-23 3d Model is not complete yet,it needs to be updated specially the side panels in the cockpit.

Looking fantastic cubanace !

Im hoping so much that finally THIS Mig-23 Mod reaches final Status and really makes it into the DCS community. A high Res and flyable Mig-23 is long overdue and so much welcomed.

Will be a nice gameplay addition with other cold war warriors arriving...

With western planes in the dev works dominating, we definitely need projects like This one !

Keep it up , hoping so much for the Roll out of the Flogger.

Why we see in the 3D work a Mig-23MF, instead the Mig-23-98 That is the tittle of the thread???

Do you know of the major external differences? As far as I know the 98 was just almost exclusively an internal upgrade and some a SLEP extension. Its a mod for fun, he is working on the SU-17 for real

Sorry for my impatience but when is this masterpiece being relased for us?

+1

maybe you can give us a vague quarter indication ( for ex: Q3 / 2017... ) ?

if Time > Promised.Release.Date then

end

did not test the function, so there might be syntax errors.... ;)

'controlling' the Ka50 feels like a discussion with the Autopilot and trim system about the flight direction.

Guys for those who want to know when the MIG-23 is coming, remember this comes with new external model and cockpit and all that takes a lot of time and work, i am working full time on the Su-17 Due to the fact that there is a possibility that if i do meet ED Standards it will become Official, there is a lot to work on the Su-17,remodeling,coding,researching,building the sound section ex,both externally and inside cockpit, there's a lot that i still don't know and that i am still just starting to discover and learn so you guys can imagine how time consuming and hard this can be for me!! but its worth learning and doing,as for the MIG-23 i cant give any dates that is impossible.

The MIG-23 when completed will also be Clickable like the Su-17 same goes for PAK FA,i just have to pass over what i have learned to my other work.

Here is a preview of the Su-17 Clickable Cockpit, i am happy i finally stepped into this part of coding.

I think, and excuse me If I am wrong cubanace, is that it is important this is a mod that he is doing free and most likely wont become anything that can give him anything back other than gratitude. The Fitter that he is working eventually, even if it takes multiple years, has a very real possibility of becoming an actual DCS module one day, do he is going to focus on this obviously. Developing a module takes a very long time & we all got understand that. Also sorry if the bold is obnoxious I just wanted everyone to try and understand that
