Hi ED!

 

Is there any particular reason why Argentina is not on the countries list? We have a lot of latin american ones like Chile, Brazil, Venezuela and Mexico, but no Argentina.

 

We have seen war (falklands) and there are a lot of Argentine pilots around DCS community.

 

Is this something you can add in the near future? That'd be great!

If you could add New Zealand to that list as well please, that would be good. We have the same rank structure as the UK and Australian Air Forces. Even though we no longer have a strike wing (stupid decision), we do operate NH90, A109, P3KOrions, C130 Hercules, S2H Seaspirtes, B757 and our new Beech-craft T-6C Texan II's.

 

Once Razbam have the A-29 up and running, would love to skin this as RNZAF T-6

Brasil, Chile, Peru and Venezuela are there, don't leave us out please! we use Mirages, A-4s, Super Etandart (hopefully one day will be a Module in DCS), but we had Sabres, Panthers (again hopefully one day in DCS), we do have UH1`s Mi8, so i believe its a god country to have....

+1 ... also please add Bolivia and Ecuador ... no need to produce skins or insignia, just add these countries' names to the database along with their flags. Thanks a lot :)

I hope they add Argentina to the list soon, since the upcoming Harrier release will allow us to create Falkland's inspired missions :)

Wouldn't it be easier all round if the additional countries could be added as a mod via a template provided for the purpose by ED?

 

It'd mean every country could be represented, which is the way it ought to be.

Yeah, I could say the same about the SAAF. At least they have seen actual air combat unlike half the countries in ED's list. I mean, who's Switzerland ever gone to war with anyway? Plus they are loads of SA pilots playing DCS and they are SAAF skins for pretty much every aircraft already, but it seems ED just can't be bothered no matter how much we beg. I actually made a mod a while back with most of the countries you guys are looking for, but you'll have to disable it when integrity check is on. ???? If it still works anyways...? I have yet to test it on 2.5.

UAE is present now in Countries but it looks like DCS doesn't recognize this country simply or shortcut is different than "UAE" only for LUA file (for United Arab Emirates repaints).

 

Can anyone know which one?

+1, Would be nice for argentine players to have the chance to pick Argentina as a country now that we have the community A-4E

 

I'm sure that Argentina will be added when Razbam finishes their South Atlantic Map, but it would certainly be better if they updated the countries.lua before that occurs.

 

... please ED, at that point add also Peru and Bolivia, so that we can simulate regional conflicts :)
