Yurgon Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 I think that he explains in his commentary, that it is the aircraft software locking on to bits of the ground and with the display being zoomed right in, any such system generated movements will be exaggerated. The slew works just fine. I think he was in area tracking, though, and the TGP should not have tried to lock on to/track anything. Looked a bit weird. I've never noticed this type of sluggish slewing since I installed my upgrade.

I’m guilty of buying the F18 and never using it because I couldn’t get used to the old slew. Because of that I’ve been primarily flying the F14. I knew I wanted to enjoy the F16 so I ordered the Delta Sim upgrade in advance before the Viper went live in Early Access. The Viper went live before my slew upgrade was scheduled to arrive so I tried my best to dumb down the stock slew to use the Viper. So in order to use the stock slew I have to run a saturation of 30 and a curve of 70 on both axis. Which made the stock slew usable but very slow. Now with the upgrade I used 100 on saturation and 15 on the curve. Long story short BUY THIS if you’ve been on the fence

Got mine today, installed it and liked it, but after I realized I had curves on the original set for 60ish and scaled it back to 10 I LOVE IT. Makes a huge difference for being able to get fine control (and so much easier control generally). Ordered mine Sept 2, shipped about Oct 3, 13 days to Canada. Between this and the green spring for the joystick from https://warthog-extensions-by-sahaj.com/ has really increased my enjoyment (and decrease the upper arm pain trying to refuel ;-)).

I've calibrated it 3 times with the enclosed TM Warthog throttle calibration software but it continues to do the same thing. It was order# 2107 if that helps.
