Dont expect it before they have solved the OB issues, especially that memory leak.

ED want to get the main bugs and performance issues out of the way before pushing it to release.

If you want to try it, the beta is available for everyone to use

Wasn't the release version of 2.5 suppose to come out 2 weeks after the beta launch?

It was always said that this was just an estimation and depends on how well the beta runs. But people just ignored that and went along with "two weeks".

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

As they always do. ED should learn a lesson from this and not specify any time frame other than "We will provide a release version after we have worked out the bugs found during the initial open beta release." If ED says any "we expect to" time, the whiners will start complaining at midnight of that day, as they always do.

When all else fails, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!

"two weeks" is classic developer lingo for "somewhere in the future but we don't know when".

Don't panic and just fly the beta. Ans yes missions will work, they always did an even 1.5 and 2.2 missions still work perfectly!

Will missions designed with the open beta work with the release version?

Yes

Hey! That's offensive! I'm a developer and TOTALLY resemble the remark. I'm offended that you found out our secret!

Please remain stationary while we dispatch the agents...

Yes, I believe I've seen posts that they want to fix that before full release.

The best way, looking at 2.5 beta issues like refueling, big lags (several seconds sometimes) when pilots enter mission or when AI units are spawned by script, game optimizations in general, memory leak, strange ground vehicule movements ...

is to wait two more weeks.... and two more if necessary and ... . The actual beta version cannot be launched in release version.

It's my point of view.
