I will reinstal whole DCS World tomorrow, IMO problem is due to patch instalation.

I switched from torrent way to HTTP after approx. 30%

 

Keep us updated, we are still looking on this end, but its frustrating when we cant reproduce the issues.

I can confirm, I got the same problem. After today’s update the Spit got no more power. It seems the propeller got no pitch at all. When you move the throttle lever back and forth you will not even notice any torque effect.

I got no mods installed.

Same problem here :/ Changing RPM or mixture has no effect. Default key bindings but the bird won't move. I tested it before the patch, worked like a charm, after the patch the plane can't move.

Have the same Spit without Power, K4 is on instant Flight all Systems off, and FW-190 Gear Buttons are in Neutral Position (not possible) when you give electric Power the Gear comes up :D

And downloaded Patch normal per Torrent.

By the Way have German DCS Edition, my Wingman with English doesn't encounter this Problems...

Something with Translation for the Keys wrong possible?

I'm just trying a re-install to see if the issue was with the update installation/updater. I seem to remember it got to around 9.5GB or 75% ish on the install bar and I went to make a cuppa, when I got back to the PC the installer informed me update had been completed which was a bit surprising as it was taking a while to download so thought it would take another half an hour, not 5 mins!

 

I tried a repair but this didn't make any difference. I'll report back when I've tried the fresh install, which is just the Caucasus map, I'll leave NTTR and Normandy till later.....

Ok, just tried it on the fresh install and can confirm it's the same, no movement on the ground. This is in an Instant Action mission - Cold Start. I did another instant action mission - free flight - to see what happened there. Seemed ok to start with, prop pitch had an effect on engine speed and flight control was as normal, but I gradually lost airspeed irrespective of throttle/prop pitch setting in level flight and engine started to overheat!, ended up with a belly landing in a field.

 

So I did a quick trip in the Harrier and all is well with that, no issues. I didn't try any other modules as no more time this evening.

Yes, when I start an F-5E instant mission, after pressing the FLY button, everything freezes up. Only a reboot solves this.

Yeah, I thought it might be, but seems most certain something just went south with the patch.

- Spitfire produces no thrust, the engine makes noise and manifold and rpm gauges increase as expected in response to throttle but there is no sign of thrust in cold start, hot start, or air start

- FW190 - gear starts in a "retract" position, can be worked around by setting the button before engaging battery, but then the engine will not start. air start results in windmilling propeller with no thrust

- P51D, BF109K4 - no issues noted

 

I also have crash to desktop on A10C battery switch

 

Soft lock occurs on attempt to spawn Mig 21, Mi8, F5E

 

The following spawn and appear to have no issues:

-M2000C

-Mig15

-F86

-Av8B

-UH1H

-Gazelle

-Hawk

-L39

-Ka50

 

No mods on my install, I7 7700, Gtx1070, 32gb ram, SSD install

Hi,

well I uninstalled DCS W2.5 from my PC, deleted file from "user files" and cleaned registry by CC.

(BUT i still have DCS W2.2 in my PC)

 

And result is bad, for me, bugs are still here, nothing has changed.

 

I have no idea what to do next, may be uninstall all, 2.2 and 2.5, and try it again, but...

I'm not affected, but it reminds me of that weird hardware-related bug we used to have last year, when users who had any FFB deviced plugged to PC, even if not used in DCS, suffered from total lack of control trim output in the flight model.

 

Maybe it's something similar this time as well.

Looks like hotfix tomorrow, it was a Starforce issue that only effects certain computer configs.
