the pullup after cat shot is a bit exaggerated?

I feel like without touching controls, the auto pullup is a bit extra. Is it me?

The pull up is normal, expected and is controllable (by trim). It's the oscillations that aren't and are currently a known issue by ED who are currently working on it.

Glad to hear that about the oscillations. That’s what I noticed.

Why are you using full flaps?

I did not read the QSG tbh. I did not know qbout these trim figures. But somehow all the vids I watch look less aggressive on the pullup.

I have a much better time off the cat with the aircraft trimmed out properly as others have pointed out. Typically just went with T/O trim (which is 12 degrees on the stabs) should be between 16-19 degrees. Now my cat launches are much smoother and feel much more like the real thing

you mean that nose up trim at these values wears off the automated pull up making its effect less noticeable?

Because I always press V when I am ready to launch. Yes I recently came aware of the table for trims at different gross weights.

Soon as you are airborne Gear Up Flaps Auto ... problem solved

Amen brother! Keep one hand on the towel rack snd the other on the gear button.

Ps. I found out yesterday if you leave the flaps in Auto the nose will pitch up more so than at half.

It's not exagerated in my opinion, at least if you've just spawned and take off from the carrier for the first time with that aircraft. After a first trap though the FCS doesn't do the same pull up, it's more aggresive. Might be the issue you guys are running into.
