naizarak Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 nice to see HB taking their time to release a quality product from day-1 instead of playing the early access charade like some other devs. if it needs to be delayed then so be it
T_A Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 uhm you could have made your big reaveal when the product was done instead of Some month early... then you could have placed it right on the shelf without any worry about "crap". What is this toxicity about? Ever heard of marketing? What exactly is your problem other then wanting it so badly like the rest of us? I'm sure he knew those options. Thanks for the useless post. this is why i barely go on this forum anymore , instant fanboyism at any legitimate criticism. as if the devs are infallible and any other opinion is blaspheme IAF.Tomer My Rig: Core i7 6700K + Corsair Hydro H100i GTX Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 7,G.Skill 32GB DDR4 3000Mhz Gigabyte GTX 980 OC Samsung 840EVO 250GB + 3xCrucial 275GB in RAID 0 (1500 MB/s) Asus MG279Q | TM Warthog + Saitek Combat Pedals + TrackIR 5 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Kayos Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 I'm thinking they will release it in November. I doubt they want to make us wait too long with all their broken promises. It's already a year late. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Eldur Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 They don't want to crunch on holidays, so it's safe to assume we'll have the module by xmas unless ultimate hell breaks loose on them. So I'd even expect they've planned a release much earlier like early Nov or maybe even end of Oct, so they're still safe and sound if they need more time for something to be good enough for a release if it still needs some work. And after all, they can fix stuff in early access period as well
MiG21bisFishbedL Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 We're leaving it ambiguous so as to not wade into a gigantic mountain of crap if something bad happens. The target is this year. I prefer to not crunch over christmas (again). Still got ten fingers? Reformers hate him! Nero.ger expressed their opinion, which happens to be no less valid than yours. And quite frankly, while the reveal was beautiful, it made no sense to me either.

This is a loop discussion because of course then you can criticize the critique itself or should it stay free of not being questioned you mean? Flamin_Squirrel Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 This is a loop discussion because of course then you can criticize the critique itself or should it stay free of not being questioned you mean? No, I'm saying that IMO MrDieing is no less guilty of voicing an opinion based on feelings rather than facts than Nero.ger, so is therefore in no position to criticise.

Cobra847 Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 (edited) Also my point about not crunching for christmas is not a promise either FWIW - take it just as a personal wish for both the sake of our team's sanity and business performance. Running a business like this is a loooot of stress - and avoiding as much of it is as possible is becoming increasingly important to me, but quality will come first - so if that means less eggnog and more gollum coffee frenzy, so be it. We're targeting December. We're guaranteeing Winter. Set your expectations accordingly. Many of us here either run our own businesses or work very stressful jobs so we completely understand. I also understand that sometimes you have to put yourself under the pump to meet expectations and deadlines. Either way I’m sure you know what is best for both your employees and your paying customers. I’m sure you’re looking forward to lifting the weight that is the Tomcat off your chest! Max_Rogue Posted October 10, 2018 Posted October 10, 2018 Just spent my money on hurricane supplies, so I'll have to wait to get the beautiful tomcat, but I most certainly will have it.
