Jester986
Dear ED, I know you can't tell us sales numbers but can you give us any clue as to how successful the Yak has been relative to other modules? Better than, worse than, or about as expected? Does it make a buisness case for more general aviation aircraft?

schroedi
The Yak is a profit to ED without a single license sold to us because it was made on duty for a customer and this customer agreed that ED can sell it to the public.
msalama
Yeah, it's a private module an unnamed customer ordered from ED. And we only heard about it, because the customer gave their permission to sell it to the public as well. I think a lot of us are waiting for the second it goes on sale Not me, bought it on day one. And I haven't regretted my purchase one second  The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.

comanche_001
No, it isn't. Why would they tell you their sales figures? What I meant was that success is shared easier than a setback.... because of the silence I figured it would be the latter... but I understand now it was an assignment from a customer.

David OC
ED still needs to make money, being able to sell to us, would perhaps been part of the deal to build the aircraft for them. ED maybe worked out estimated sales and gave a discount for the licence. i7-7700K OC @ 5Ghz | ASUS IX Hero MB | ASUS GTX 1080 Ti STRIX | 32GB Corsair 3000Mhz | Corsair H100i V2 Radiator | Samsung 960 EVO M.2 NVMe 500G SSD | Samsung 850 EVO 500G SSD | Corsair HX850i Platinum 850W | Oculus Rift | ASUS PG278Q 27-inch, 2560 x 1440, G-SYNC, 144Hz, 1ms | VKB Gunfighter Pro Chuck's DCS Tutorial Library Download PDF Tutorial guides to help get up to speed with aircraft quickly and also great for taking a good look at the aircraft available for DCS before purchasing.
