2018 gave problems in my setup. These 2018 are specifically made for the new rudder pedals. Which I don't have. 2017 are the same for TMWH only.

 

This is about throttle firmware I suggest somebody might want to check if that possibly is the culprit for the SC not working. I don't know, mine works.

 

The 'Update Service' gives an online check of the firmware status, not about any drivers. I suggest DCS might want to check this, would save some work maybe.

IRMAV stuck at WPDSG point

 

I can not undesignate and thus slew the F maverick from any point designated as target. I enter waypoint coords, altitude, then press WPDSG the maverick auto slews to said waypoint. Now I press sensor control switch right and get the bug on the IRMAV screen. This means it is my SOI and I can move it around. Now I hit undesignate on stick and the up down left right buttons to try and slew the maverick even change its FoV by key i. No joy.

Are holding down target designate while you try and slew?

Are you pressing TDC while trying to slew? And you can't have a WP designated and slew. Have to choose one or the other. Have to undesignate to slew.

Once you press un-designate check the following.

 

Master arm ON

A/G ON

Mav SOI

Mav uncaged

Hold down TDC

Slew mav

Lock target

Rifle rifle rifle

 

If this doesn't work check your key bindings.

Maverick not slewing at NTTR

 

Guys,

 

 

when flying on NTTR, i´m not able to slew the IR-MAV... Same configuration on Caucasus works fine...

And yeah, left DDI is active, MAV is uncaged... ;-)

 

Any suggestions?

 

Edit: Problem gone after reboot of PC... Strange world indeed... Can´t really say what the problem was...

We now, internally, have a new TDC slew option for the Maverick that does not require the TDC to be depressed while slewing. Once you cease slewing the seeker, the seeker will attempt to lock whatever is the center of the crosshairs. If it can nothing to lock, it will go into break lock mode. In other words, pretty much how it works with the Maverck in the A-10C.

 

It should be available in the next Open Beta.
