Lixma 06
For me it is in the modules: Gazelle,Mig21,Mig15,Su25T and Su33, not in others, in Nevada, Caucasus and Golf-map.:joystick: I was flying around in the Mustang for about an hour with no problem - I jumped into the Mig-21 and within a minute it happened. ED Team NineLine Posted January 16, 2019 ED Team Share Posted January 16, 2019 It's odd, but I am not seeing it, only tried the MiG-21 so far, but not seeing the flashing, can you guys share a screenshot of your settings, and any other info so I can try and duplicate it. Also, have you tried deleting your metashader2 and fxo folders to make sure you have clean refreshed shaders. It only happens when water is set to High and when you are out over the ocean. it happens very often in the hornet i have deleted the shaders and fxo folders during my use of 2.5.4 and there was no change. It happens rarely when using a monitor and much more frequently while in VR. Also, it alternates eyes when in VR as well, could be right or left but never both. ED Team NineLine Posted January 16, 2019 ED Team Share Posted January 16, 2019 Only over the ocean for you? Above someone included a video with it happening over land. I will try over the ocean as well, but I know my water is set to high. robgraham
I just deleted both metashader folders, + fxo and it's happened on vr and monitor nineline, the settings are attached. If I drop water to medium and loose the screen space reflections on the water (which makes it look like crap) it fixes the issue, If I leave them as it is here then I get an intermittent flicker on the monitor when in normal and left eye mostly in vr though at times the right does flicker as well. It is almost as if a draw call is taking too long but I've not actually sat and looked at the Frame Times yet to see if that is actually the case (About to now) Edited January 16, 2019 by robgraham i7 13700k, 64gb DDR5, Warthog HOTAS, HP Reverb G2 VR, win 11, RTX 3070 TGW Dedicated Server Admin, Australian PVE/PVP gameplay. ams999
It only happens when water is set to High and when you are out over the ocean. Sadly, for me also on land and with water on medium/low, as stated before. robgraham
I am running the same driver, about to update to the newest one. Same, otherwise i'm up to date, on the drivers.. Watching the frame times just now while i got the flicker there is nothing out of the ordinary compared to the rest of it.. (other then DCS only leveraging 50% gpu). Can say this only started with 2.5.4 and that Rik (i think it was rik) had in the VR forums at least acknowledged he'd confirmed that it was happening in vr last release, but yeah i'm getting it in both vr and non vr. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3728259&postcount=37 Edited January 16, 2019 by robgraham add link to rik's confirmed i7 13700k, 64gb DDR5, Warthog HOTAS, HP Reverb G2 VR, win 11, RTX 3070 TGW Dedicated Server Admin, Australian PVE/PVP gameplay. (It's been happening since 2.5.4) Non-VR (and luckily nowhere near as bad as others are experiencing) FXO and Metashaders deleted and rebuilt (shouldn't the updater be doing this automatically?). Running nVidia driver 417.71. I've tried re-creating it (I thought it might happen at some specific angle to the sun or whatever) but I've had no success. In my video 2 pages before you can clearly see that it happens when the sun reflects in the cockpit glass (for me atleast) ___________________________________________________________ AMD Ryzen 5 3800X CPU AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 G.Skill DIMM 16 GB DDR4-3600 ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING Windows 10 - 64 Bit THRUSTMASTER TFRP + T.Flight Hotas X / TrackIR
