We now know where they modeled those legs in the BS trailer/teaser vid..

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Arggghhhhhhh!!!!!! *pulling hair out*

Do you fly helos for real? Because that's a lot more difficult in real life than it is in say, DCS Black Shark. You're looking at a valley undoubtedly with uncomfortable winds, rotor wash turbulence, no clear line of sight to the location the tail is being held, and one heavy arse helicopter. That's challenging flying. He's not a "daredevil," no, but he does appear to be a fine pilot.

The pilot can't see behind the aircraft, so he is absolutely incapable of performing this maneuver alone. I don't doubt that he is a fine pilot, but he is not acting in a vacuum. If he was the only crewmember aboard the aircraft, this maneuver would not be possible, period. I am not a pilot (just a student pilot, solo in a few days, actually) but I have flown helicopters and I am a crewmember with nearly 1,000 hours, so I have a pretty good idea what can be done with good Crew Resource Management even with a crappy pilot, and what cannot be done without CRM even with a great pilot...this is a good example of the latter.

Also, pinnacle landings are routine. I can't say they are not sometimes challenging (more so to some pilots than others), but they are something that all helo crews train for.

TL;DR My beef is not with the pilot, it's with people forgetting that the pilot couldn't have done this alone.

Dude no one every tested a bigger bomb than this. It may be old news but its still a one time event.

There are many one time events that's not the point, this is a news thread not a history thread. Furthermore we have a dedicated photos and videos thread so stick to the topics, no need to spam random videos everywhere.
