So in the teasers for the new map they are showing a lot of the F-15E, any news on how soon thats coming?

Never thought of looking in the saved games folder. 22.7GB in there.

 

400GB+, that's a big sim.

Can you post your autoupdate_log.txt (located in your installation directory)?

When will the Atlantic map have links to where we can go there automatically with our jets and choppers? All other maps all me to go with my jets and choppers.

The new Map is a breath of fresh air  I'm already editing missions, and just started a little collection of Static Templates

 

 

Strange that the internal name of the Map is not "South Atlantic", but "Falklands"

Yes it is a breath of fresh cool air. And I might make some templates as well.

 

I'm not much into A2A, but I took the F-16 for a ride and had a turkey shoot with some enemy heavies. Got the lighting and weather just right, and with the flatlands underneath, the snowy peaks in the distance, and the bombers a burnin', it was pure eye candy goodness.

 

This map is already good and has excellent potential.

Nice detail .. wish other Maps had this.

Yes + we have very good map for MFD/MPD of Falklands/Malvinas - high resolution. In Apache I cand do very nice zoom of it (map has few version for zoom).

On Sout Atlantic map looks like we have one map (so not few version), because if you zoom in the whole picture will increase too (text, symbols ect). Maybe here is EA, on Falklands is finished.

In the Razbam Discord today https://discord.com/channels/536389125276827660/544224332709232660 there was a partial list of airfields that will be added. If you are interested in the development of this map then I recommend joining that server/channel because there's quite a few tidbits about future intentions and current development that gets shared by the team.

Честно говоря, первоначальный восторг несколько поутих и я начал приглядываться к подстилающей поверхности. И вот какая штука... Это google maps. Если места вокруг аэродромов достаточно проработаны, то стоит подальше отлететь, как 3D объекты превращаются в плоские 2D текстуры, что достаточно неприятно и вызывает недоумение. Таких мест достаточно. Какое-то дежа-вю из 90-х. Это будет правится?
