Thank you @Admiral189, very kind.

All, fix to the dancing SeaCeptor on the Type 23 HMS Richmond mod. Replace in the Weapons folder in the mod's Database.

I cannot and do not claim any credit for the work done here. All credit goes to Admiral and CurrentHill as it is their work that I have blended for the fix.

Thanks all

Good Morning Everyone!

You're welcome Buur, it was a simple fix. You all should see better FPS results when landing on the Allure of the Seas Cruise Ship.

Hey Beldin the Cavour has a full load. Nice photos. Is that a Corvette on deck? 😆 Maybe that's the Captain's car.

Thanks McFly29 for the SeaCeptor update. I think Beldin may have found the reason why the missiles dance like that. Credit goes to you McFly for fixing the missile issue. Thanks again.

As promised i've released the updated Allure of the Seas Cruise ship. FPS lag and bow wake has been corrected. Enjoy

Cars on Carriers - and a sports car to boot - how very Italian !!!!

When I served in HMS Hermes the RN wouldnt even let me take my bike on board, I wanted to stow it on the hangar wall racks well out of everyones way ... miserable bu**ers said it constituted a fire hazard and was a risk to safety !!!  (This was in pre electric bike days of course !!)

I fooled them though, every night I used to run up and down the flight deck in my cycling gear, helmet included !!

Well, folks I watched DCS Worlds 2025 and Beyond video and I didn't see any ship mods for us Mariners as always. I guess we will have to make our own 2025 Beyond models.

Stay tuned!

Any chance there's a 1944 version of a Cleveland class cruiser on the Admiral's slipway?  Like USS Wilkes-Barre, CL-103?

Loving the Cavour, that is one interesting looking ship.

Do you have any plans for ships from the Falklands War ? A Type 21 frigate or county class destroyer would be great for missions on the SA Map.

For what it's worth, there is a fairly old and outdated Leander-class frigate mod out there - it works, shows up in the game, and isn't half bad looks-wise, but the weapons are all wrong.  It would be nice if these ships had Exocet anti-ship missiles, working Sea Cats, and Sea Wolfs, but we'll take what we can get.

I agree, we have to accept what's out there, but no harm in asking I guess, especially as its hull is very similar to the Iranian Frigate IRIS Alvand that Admiral has created.

Its a real shame, I purchased the South Atlantic map with visions of recreating the Falklands War, especially with all the assets that were teased during the maps development. Here we are a good number of years down the road with only 2-3 ships from that era, not to mention a whole tonne of missing AI aircraft from that period. The Admiral and many other modders like him do a great job creating as many ships as they can, but I guess they can only do so much, if only ED would help them but taking on some AI ships themselves or even giving access to SDK.

Type 21 would be awesome 😉😉

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Admiral.

If you could ref the new model name it as Canadian Patrol Frigate vice the HMCS XXXXXXXX? Good looking model with FELEX modifications to it.

I don't know what can be done but when we take them to sea, the focsle rails are usually down (gunnery and heavy seas)   No jackstaff either.

Thanks, Silver Dragon. I was just discussing the Harpoon Missiles and or RGM-84s. We normally use EDs Harpoon (RGM-84) missiles but they need more attention as they are not very accurate. The Surface to Air missiles we create are pretty accurate and they pick the harpoons off like Flies.

As mentioned I mainly use Wikipedia and Seaforces as my reference material.  https://www.seaforces.org/.

For missile speed in milliseconds, I use  https://www.metric-conversions.org/speed/mach-to-meters-per-second.htm

I forgot one Mod. A birdy brought up the Canadian Frigate mod. So it will done this week as well. It will be a remake of the HMCS Montreal. This will be HMCS Charlottetown FFH-339.

The Italian Frigate Andrea Doria and French Frigate Forbin are up next but they will take time. At least a couple of weeks to complete.

Sea Wolf and Exocet fitted to the the Lender Class that was linked in the thread.

Message me if you would like to try the lua files.

You will need Admiral's Normandie mod install for the Exocet missiles.

3-D model has some minor issues. The Sea Wolf GWS-25 missile launcher only has 1 connector not the 6 it should. It will fire all 6 missiles but they all launch from the same tube.

Exocet launcher hatches are not animated. The rear Sea Cat Launcher is still fitted and should have been removed for the Sea Wolf Update. If the SA Sea Cat code works I will add it so the launcher works.

I would very much appreciate it if you sent me the files, thanks.  Also, I do have the French Navy FREMM mod installed, so I got that covered.

Oh YES!!  She'll do!  Could that be USS Savannah, CL-42; or USS Honolulu, CL-48; or St. Louis, CL-49?  Awesome!  Do all the guns work?
