Will the A-10C II have a VR body? Maybe later?

Something I would like to see more of, not just in the A10-C II either. The virtual pilot in the F18 is very well done, looks great in VR.

Serious question(not questioning your opinion), why are you guys so obsessed with pilot bodys? I'm just interested, it's the first thing i disable if it's active because it annoys me if my arms block the view of switches and i can't take it away like in RL(VR).

+1 first thing i also disable in VR however happy for those that like it. I find the same as the last post it hides the switches and clutters the view so dont understand why people go mad for the model to be there. I'm clearly missing something lol

It´s something that gives you more immersion. I fly mostly Helicopters in DCS and flying without Pilotbody just feels not real. Thanks to Voice attack it's just one word to disable and enable the Pilotbody just like as I´d lift my Arm.

I can sense the virtual body parts for real. Especially if the motions are syncronized because of holding a steering wheel, a flight stick or a throttle. It is a prickling pleasant sensation.

I'm all for a pilot body as long as I can make it completely invisible so I can see through arms etc. to find switches and controls.

 

...wait I just checked, the invisible pilot body is already there. ;)

+2. VR body is just in the way of switches and displays. I find it actually distracting from the immersion because it doesn't move with you. So I absolutely turn it off.

 

Now it would be a different story if/when we get the haptic gloves or proper hand tracking in VR and the pilot arms would move with you in game. That might be worth having.
