Got an odd one - trying the new Stennis super carrier functionality with Reforger but on mission 1, after trapping a second time none of the catapult crews accept you even after requesting launch via the comms menu. I was obliged to cowboy launch in full burner from the back of the deck!

Wierd thing was after the final successful third trap I rolled towards a catapult to see if they would still would not take me and lo and behold, the director asked me to spread my wings!

Would be good to report this in the SC section of the forums. In the meantime I suggest using the SC version for SC owners, until the new hybrid Stennis is more fleshed out. We're leaving it in for a while to come.

Thank you for giving us such a great campaign with free to F-14 owners. I beat 2 campaigns. The Operation Reforger is one of the best immersive campaign I've ever played. I'd love to see the next one as stated "to be continued???"

Ran into a couple of issues replaying this in 2.8.3.37556 single thread.

Mission 6 - Labels are forced off. 

Mission 7 - Failed to progress after intercepting the Russian gorilla group. I can't be sure if a red aircraft escaped or not since they are apparently set to hidden.

I opened up Mission 7 in the editor and it looks like at least one Russian aircraft has to reach a trigger zone called "Retreat" southwest of WP2 in order advance the mission. I think we may have downed them all before they got there the last time I played it. I'll have to give it another shot.

Please note that you are only supposed to attack targets assigned to you. 🙂 It's been a while, so I don't have the full picture/ flow of the mission in mind anymore and would have to look it up again, but recently the AI is also not playing ball much, so it may not be your fault either.

WP2 is at the very edge of the Retreat trigger zone so flew it again and kept a close eye on the Red aircraft in relation to WP2. They never got close. Blue AI absolutely demolished them without any help from me. It's the first time I think I've seen an improvement in AI break a mission.

Copy, thanks. I will simply set the unit for the trigger to invisble and invulnerable then, which should fix the issue.

Here's my feedback for mission 1 of Reforger II:

Arriving at the de-arm pad, all soldiers were dead (which is hilarious, since Jester just doesn't acknowledge this). I guess the static units should be spawned in after the attack, to make sure they survive?

Otherwise the mission was nice, if not a bit empty, since a lot of things happen, but nobody talks about it, except for jester in half a sentence.
Maybe have Jester suggest to tune to Alpha Whiskey on radio one and hear some chatter? Just a suggestion though.

But I'm once again amazed at what you get with the module and I'm looking forward to what's to come.

I forgot to mention: the flights are made specifically tuned to your preset channel 1 for what you mention above, so if you leave your radio as is, you should hear them jump to action.

The scuds are unfortunately a bit unreliable, good idea to spawn the ground soldiers in later or maybe set to invulnerable, though normally the scuds hit further away.

I never touched radio 1 but didn't hear anything. Just Jester mentioning how the base is burning, after that 10 minutes of silence until I get clearance to land.

Ah, I know why. I turned off ATC, so hence you didnt hear them likely doing their take offs. I'll leave ATC on for mission 1. Thanks again.

I need a bit of help on Mission 2 of the Reforger Part 2 campaign.

 

On station, get directed to two Mig 29's (Jester says it's probably the final engagement?) and we get directed West.  If there are 29's out there they are a long way off.  The entire time Jester directs the radar south so we turn south until 4 Mig 21's scamble on top of us.  Jester then claws control away from me when I attempt to use PAL mode.

 

I think something has gone squiffy or I'm misunderstanding something.

Same. To add insult to injury: the MiG-21's completely ignored us and merely blasted right by at ludicrous speed.

Mission 2 once I got clearance to go to the tanker after doing the Southern CAP for about 37 tracks, the tanker decided to go home to Incirlik before I got to the tanker. I had enough fuel left to land, but needless to say I failed the mission.

Both Wavehopper and me seem to run into the wrong trigger right from the beginning of the CAP. 🤷‍♂️ Despite flying the planned route right behind the other Tomcat flights.

I took off last and cruised about 8-ish miles behind the other Tomcats. I saw them peel off to their respective CAP stations, then got the dialogue concerning our CAP procedures. Very shortly after I turned towards SP 3 I got the message about those MiG-29's, same as Wavehopper.

Never saw the 29's. I turned back to WP2 and went on with my CAP. All I saw were MiG-21's later on. When we transitioned to the Southern CAP we were there forever until suddenly Jester called out more splashed 29's that were never there, then we got the call to rendezvous with the tanker, but he decided to go home already.

Yup, can confirm. I joined up on the Vipers instead, but the mission didn't seem to progress after reaching the tanker track waypoint.

Mission 2 didn't work for me either (in terms of triggers not activating etc), on the first attempt.  Retrying now.  Will post Track if I get the same result...

 

...Shortly after I arrive on station for CAP (North), I hear Venom telling Magic their mission is complete and I get a call from Magic to tell me to cover Venom and expect RTB shortly:
