It's possible that under certain circumstances, or with a particular SAM setup that I didn't think of, you might spot one of these symbols. Same threats but different symbols, some missing from both lists etc. Examples attached. The second one is for different aircraft, possibly the Harrier and F-14. It is an older kneeboard, I had a copy and edited a few updates onto for the Harrier changes. Minsky
As requested, added the "proper" (inverted) night kneeboards. Also reworked the RWR and checklists pages for better readability. Download links are in the first post. However, I just checked earlier versions of the same manuals (2000-2002), and surprisingly enough, they all have it. And so do the Super Hornet's and Growler's manuals. I cannot explain such discrepancy, but having this item simply makes sense, so let us have it. Download the updated kneeboards here. Disregard it saying "16 August", this is the new version. Note that I moved the OBOGS stuff from CLEARING RUNWAY to BEFORE SHUTDOWN section. Two reasons for that: - That's where it resides in the old NFMs. - Before switching the OBOGS off, the mask has to be unstrapped. Which on the deck normally happens after the aircraft is parked. markom
Awesome stuff, thank you so much. Here's another nit... Any chance I can persuade you to drop the page numbers from the PDF? Or at least the checklist pages? I have them printed and laminated, and page numbers interfere with my CDO (similar to OCD, just alphabetical, as it ought to be). In TOO, the missile sees EWRs as unknown emitters, but refuses to home on them once launched. Arikaj
Hi @Minsky, foremostly I must say I have been a user since the release and I thank you very much for the best FA18C checklist. Although I do have a small request. Checklist file Day_01 is black and white. I believe in the previous versions it was more colourful - had a complete reinstall of OS and lost some files including the checklist. Perhaps, would it be possible for you to share the older version of it please?
