When landing the F-18, taxi and coming to a complete stop, the speed on the left side of the HUD shows 48 or other speeds. How do I adjust the speed in the HUD to be accurate when taxiing, at a stop/no forward movement?

You only see IAS on the HUD, but if you look at the HSI you will see ground speed or TAS ( I think).

Is there a reason you need to see Ground speed? When taxiing you can generally see from visual cues if your too fast.

The airport traffic cops.  Tickets are expensive.  You might want to invest in a radar detector...

Ground speed on the Hornet is available on the HSI next to the aircraft symbol.
