CVN-68 USS Nimitz / CVN-65 USS Enterprise

As today, DCS is working on CV-59.

I am wondering that are we going to have CVN-68 in the future?

+1, though I doubt we'll see it unfortunately, the only thing I will say is that for the Cold War we're desperately missing appropriate ships to go with it:

• Knox FF
• Charles F. Adams DDG/Spruance DD
• Leahy/Belknap CG
• Wichita AOR/Sacramento AOE/Cimarron AO

Nimitz, Ike and Enterprise are definitely needed.  Give Stennis the SC model but maybe leave off the deck crew and cities goodies.

Maybe a late Cold War Asset Pack could include the SC Nimitz subclass, Enterprise, and appropriate escorts.

For Enterprise, I would want the nuclear Long Beach and Bainbridge.

Truxtun, California and Virginia CGN would be nice,  too.

And you can forget about any new carrier, cmon, we don´t even have the Stennis after more than a year and a half (not even news from it), and you are dreaming with new models?

Thanks for pointing out and I thought Supercarrier mod was one to provide a carrier.

Well, we, all, have our own different wish list.  After all, it is good to hear all different suggestion and it is not a bad idea, isn't it?

@Uxi and @AKULA_OPTIMUS In my personal opinion, the open forum is opened for everyone to express the individial thought and it does not mean peers will agree with me in 100%.

So, that's let go of this topic if we will (not) have a new carrier in the future (Of couse, we want to see the new carrier regardless which model in DCS).

May the DCS force with all of us.... haha.... lol... 

(I am not a true fan of the Star War)

Which is rather ironic considering the only callsign marshall currently uses is the one appropriate for the Stennis, the only Nimitz-Roosevelt carrier not present in the Supercarrier pack.

Does it actually work now? Selecting/deselecting that option didn't work for the longest time and I've been using a lua mod ever since. I don't recall a permanent fix to it mentioned in any changelogs.

CV-63 Kitty Hawk, CVN-65 Enterprise, CVN-68, 69 and 70 are all on my SC wishlist.

Also, still waiting to see the Stennis get the SC treatment.

For sure, USS Enterprise CVN 65  would be a masterpiece lets say for a Vietnam theatre, alongside with HB Forrestals. Even more, I would comission it with the old original island at release, the only issue are the fighters for the age,lack of F-4J, Skyraiders and a couple more.
