Thanks. Yes, I barely understand English. Except for a few words and sentences. Perhaps I expressed myself a bit unclearly. Sorry. Still, constantly reading "It works for me" or "Read the manual" instead of providing real solutions doesn't help anyone. To get back to the topic: If I'm flying the helicopter freely on a map, hovering the mouse over each switch, etc., and see that you can move those two black levers with the mouse, I assume you can use them in a cold boot. This isn't the case. So, my post was justified.

I'd try what you're talking about in game but my game doesn't even load right now so maybe someone can verify this for me...I'm assuming you need to right click on each of the PCL's once NG is on the rise to "click" the PCL into idle. I wouldn't try using the scroll wheel due to the fact you might go past idle. Try that and see what happens.

I've clearly already had enough  to last a lifetime  I agree with the post saying start by looking for the manual, watch vids etc. What I do not know is what does 'Googling the -10 for the bird'. It is the '-10' that I do not understand from that phrase. Any help would be much appreciated.

PS Please do not tell me to start with the manual for the internet...I'll probably past away by the time I get past the letter A

The manual of the real helo has the Army code TM 1-1520-237-10 ... shortened to "-10" by many users. In my opinion it is unnecesarily complex, you can perfectly learn this bird with just its 67-page DCS guide (DCS UH-60L Mod v2 Guide.pdf which is in the \Doc folder of the helo)
