Being able to see troops in the back and disembarking/embarking would be a fantastic addition for helicopter operations immersion across the board.  At the moment I feel a disconnect between me as a Huey pilot and the troops when carrying out troop transport and troop support duties.

I'm hoping that the release of the CH-47 and C130 is going to bring us a lot more in DCS when it comes to troops, logistics and mission progression in general. In particular I would love to see:

• Animation of actual troop embarking and disembarking
• Revisit to sling loading and hopefully fixing issues with physics that cause slingshotting.
• Introduction of the COW (mobile FARP) for refueling/rearming/repairing of other units.
• Dynamic Spawn point creation on the map / the ability to create new client/player spawn slots in real time.

There is so much more potential for things other than combat that can be done in DCS. MOOSE, a variety of different script writers, server owners and mission designers have managed to graft in some of these abilities with some hacking - but for it to be fully functional and native to DCS would just be a dream. The ability to bring in non-combat players who fly 'the other civilian flight simulator' into an environment where they can contribute to a progressive multiplayer campaign without having to worry about combat operations -  but where their flight has real impact on other people and not just flying virtual cargo on a MP server has the potential to reach out to a lot more people than combat alone does.

Very much agree.  I think that there is a lot of untapped potential for helicopter ops that DCS has yet to exploited.  I think that DCS could reach a wider customer base if it was to expand more into this area.

Infantry Unit Improvements. We will be working on new infantry models and animations in 2024 along with more life-like behaviors.

CH-47F coming with sling loading, by now, we dont know your features and fixes.

No planed yet, but surely will coming more in the future.

Dynamic Spawn point creation has on develop by ED, first on bases.

In the trailer the ch47f was only shown m60 door guns. Do chinooks not use m240's in the 21st century?

The British ones as late as 2007 used M60s or Miniguns. Which is odd as M60s were never a gun used by the British in an infantry capacity but the FN MAG was.

@Brickle Hey man! I'm pretty sure you're the one with the 47 Driver YouTube channel, right? If so, is it possible you could make some videos reviewing what ED has given us in the CH-47F pre-order video, and their posts to Instagram? I feel like I saw some things missing. Thanks!

Indeed, that's me. Just getting off my feet with the channel, but I'll be hopefully doing some more stuff soon. I will take a look at what ED has put out and I can do a discussion based video about it for sure.

i thought it was a US based Ch47F? i looked at the US army 2011 manual. It says either M60D or M240H machineguns can be used, so i do hope that just because ED said its a "2007" Ch47F does not mean its only limited to the M60 door guns.

Chinooks fly over my dwelling regular I hear then well before they arrive so must bag this module not far from me near "tony martins" house not the singer , one was hovering over a farm dropping something off not sure why or what but strangely strange but oddly true. Nice one ED.

Yes, I'm saying if the brits used the M60 on their Hooks even through they normally don't even have that weapon in their inventory. Then there's probably a reason both the Americans and brits used them on the hooks so long.

That's actually an excellent way to get flight time and hone skills. 

Instead of just burning taxpayer bought fuel to get flight hours. They help while getting training.
