The patch solved the HMD issue for all others. So, I guess something went wrong on your side.

Are you sure you have set the "Helmet Mounted Device" option in the Mission Editor to "JHMCS"? If not you can do this also in the Cockpit by using the Crew options in the Comm menu.

Any chance we might get a brief description of what is to come or possible fixes?  Just installed it with the boys and really digging it.  Probably going to make a 2006 Campaign with the C, F, and E model.  Any chance we would be able to eventually jettison the center line tank?  Unless there is a special way, I have not discovered a way to drop it yet.  Great work gents! Really digging the feel. Also, stellar job not affecting the base C model from ED.

What's the current version of this out right now? This thread talks about v2.3 but the download link is v2.2.5

Pretty sure I know the answer here but is the EA-18G functional? Not talking about if I can fly it, I know I can. But, is it able to do the jamming are the ALQ pods "functional"?

The centerline tank already is jettisonable in the current version of the mod v2.3.

No, but you can use the Electronic War Jamming Script to simulate it.

How do you download stuff from Discord? I thought Discord was a chat thing...I've also never used Discord either.

 

That's really cool with the jamming script thing. How do you actually set it up in the mission editor to work? Where does the script go in the game files?

As I wrote you can find the download link on discord. And besides of that discord is much more than a simple chat platform.

Please read the thread I have linked for more information. The script also comes with a detailed readme file that answers your questions.

Again, I don't know how to use Discord. All I see are a bunch of replies and conversations. Don't know where to find links on it. I have ZERO idea on what I'm doing on it.

 

I see his PDF and the LUA at the bottom, but it doesn't say where to put the LUA or what this MIST thing is.

1. Download the EW_script_2.00.lua and the Test_EWJS.miz from here:

2. Download the MIST script from here:

3. Unzip (in case of MIST) and copy the lua files into your Saved Games\DCS[.openbeta]\Scripts folder

4. Copy the Test EWJS.miz file into your Saved Games\DCS[.openbeta]\Missions folder

5. Start DCS World, open the Test_EWJS.miz in the ME and learn how it works (it is quite simple)

And what do you expect me to do? 

I posted the link to the CJS Superhornet discord. There are different channels (like #q-and-a, #mod-download-link, #general and many others). In these channels you can find a lot of useful information, release notes, development news, downloads and even hotfixes for this mod. Much more than you ever will get here in this forum.

The information is available for everyone we just need to do our research. I started from zero with no knowledge about scripting or how to do it.

I loaded it (put mod in mods-aircraft folder), tried to do an instant action mission but the sim froze about 99%, then exited, tried to open mission editor, sim froze about 75%. Exited, tried an instant action mission with the F-86, loaded right up. Took the mod out, ran a couple instant action mission with the Sabre no problem, put the mod back in, mission editor won't load.

Then learn
