Will any of these units ever be added to DCS officially? I assume they won't, but the work on these additions looks amazing and worthy of being added officially in game.

There is an abnormal silence lately in here... but this, together with CH name in DCS update logs for the China's assets pack who knows... we can only hope for the best ! 😄

I can't find ammo in the warehouse for logistics purposes, I'd like to sling load an ammo crate with the proper ammo types to my units in the field.  Is it there?

He's said before that is doubtful.

How is this related to CH mods? Anyway, you may want start looking on scripting part maybe... and I may suggest you checking the MOOSE framework.

The MLRS and Artillery units he has in his mods or haven't you noticed them in his mods?

I am not aware about any granularity for ammo replenishing for ground units... only for airborne units. For ground units rearming, DCS have this limitations where it is requiring an ammo truck within a certain range to replenish about any unit (ground wise) with about any type of ammunition in an unlimited fashion . CH's units are just subscribing to this given framework !

Or did I miss anything ?

Ok, maybe I'm just trying to get too deep in the weeds then.

Quick question.

TO install, it says to do the following:

C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\mods\tech

Though for me they do not show up in game, but I am using the release branch and not the beta branch. So I installed the files to:

C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS\mods\tech

And the assets do not appear in game. Do I need to use the beta branch for these mods?

1000%  A tanker asset pack with J57 equipped KC-135 would be incredible.  We really need that engine variant.  A KC-46 would be awesome for "future" scenarios.  A KC-10 is also needed.  But I think we need ED to allow for these others to actually be able to AAR?

I think there is only the one branch of the game now and it would make sense that it files itself under the beta folders in order to do so.

If you have ANY of the old CH mods you must remove them first.

Never had any version install previously. Tried both the release branch and open beta (though I don't have that anymore) installs and neither seemed to work.

Not really. Someone actually managed to make KC767 and KC10, but as a private mod. I would love to see the J57, Phantom Vibe 😎

I dont understand the reason about private mods apart from payed ones.

We are here to enjoy the simulation as a comunity.

Hi C.H.

Anyone else finding their SAMS (the S-350 especially) going absolutely nuts spinning/corkscrewing/pinwheeling/ everywhere? At one stage I place the units too close and it managed to kill it's own TR...

First of all i must say i use all your mods adn they add so much to the game! I have two questions.

 

First is, is there any chance to make your radars compatible with IADS script?

Second is, is there any chance of making Serbian/Yugoslav tech? I have access to some good 3d models of M-84 tank(both the original A model and new AS2 model), Lazanski IFV, M-87 mlrs, M-80 BVP, Nora B52 self proppelled artilery, P-40 radar that we use and couple other things.

But CH's assets are already compatible with Mantis from Moose. If you are referring to Skynet/Mist script... i am not using that since I've discovered its counterpart Mantis

Have you updated the mods to the newest ones from his site? There was a missile code change that causes missiles to go crazy.

+1. They work fine with Moose/Mantis. It's pretty easy to configure them also. Plus Moose also handles A2A, A2G, Arty, Naval and ground units. It's brilliant.

if someone has already asked this I apologise and I have a feeling with over 200 pages someone probably has but without scrolling through every page, are ww2 assets something you have an interest in and is it possible you may do some in the future?
I use your Tu 95 to do close formation intercepts with the F14 and see animated crew members through the windows. Absolutely amazing work and thankyou for adding so much to our favourite flight sim.

I'd fall over sideways if CH did up a basic, supplementary 'WWII assets pack'. Hell, even just an AI He111 - since ED seems to have no interest in expanding the current (EU theater) asset pack...
