Hawaii is e cold, and Waikiki is fake. Walk two meters into the water and enjoy the sharp vulcanic rocks. The sand on beach is from California.
The pineapples were good though.

Yup, give me South-East Asian islands/Sri Lanka any day. I tend to stay mostly under water anyway though.

Last time I was on holidays there my conclusion was "meh". Sure - some(!) of the landscapes are beautiful. But others are....

No problems here with releasing BETA updates on a Friday. Production releases are definitely better for earlier in the week for sure. Newy has made it clear that this is a BETA release. Sure - people are running OB as their main version, but that's on them, not ED.

Id agree with you on those points for the 2.9 release we have maybe 2 major updates to go in November and December with id say a couple of minor patches to fix things that this October patch when it breaks some important stuff.

We have had 1 major plane release this year the F15SE and what 2 terrains Normandy 2 and Sinai

If we look at your F4 percentage, id also suggest for the rest of 2023 based on what was seen in the 2023 beyond video (I know it says beyond)

Well the Black Shark campaign was featured in a recent newsletter.  I've also heard that the F-16 wild weasel camapign by Ground Pounder Sims is supposed to be ready.  Steam database shows two unnamed items for DCS and two campaigns makes more sense to me than a surprise module release since we are already getting the Mirage F-1BE.

Note that it's not a classic beta, our OB branch is more like Windows monthly update (complete with the bugs ), as opposed to being on the opt-in 6 month release cycle. Actual beta is closed beta, meant for actual testers to find issues.

Open beta is and always will be a public test branch, there is always potential for disruption or for known issues to be included. Of course we do our best to catch everything we can in closed testing.
