They all work "for someone else". Also pre-drama. Those people are freelancers. They cant make a living out of DCS

I hope the Strike Eagle continues to gets patches and content updates. That is part of the agreement for purchase. From what experienced with it, the module was a lot of fun, when it worked.
If that doesn't happen, then I feel like ED owes anyone who purchased the module, a store credit refund, if not a full on refund.

This should have been resolved the first weekend. Now it’s two months later.. What is still being discussed? Seems like a complete deadlock without any solution in sight. 

I have spent hundreds of dollars on Razbam modules. The latest one still deep in EA.  It does affect my willingness (at the moment) to buy other DCS World products or recommend others to do so. The whole 3rd party model as such is being tested.

Many cool modules and maps waiting on the horizon. Just hoping that this current situation won’t spoil all of that.

not only upcoming modules to purchase but i went from spending every hour available on DCS to not even wanting to boot it up since this came to light, kinda leaves a bad taste in your mouth and makes you feel like you could be wasting time on "insert module here" becuase they could be lost any moment, without ED having any safeguarding from such.

Strike Eagle is brand new in DCS terms and already looking like will be abandoned, the other 3 RB modules are iconic aircraft with great simulation (mirage) and the m2k already has gamebreaking bugs with no fix in sight....
also feel like mentioning anything in discord gonna catch you a ban, situation is rediculous imho

maybe not the "best" modules in everyones eyes but the DCS world either sp or mp, is fleshed out with jets like the AV-8B, Mirage2000c, Mig19 and F15E.
losing these will have a big impact on the sim at this point.

I’ve given up caring now, the radio silence on this is pretty infuriating.

I bought Afghanistan, and I might buy other maps if any other decent ones are released as they are less reliant on bug fixes and updates.

But after all this I passed on the F4 and despite being quite keen on the MiG-29 I doubt I’ll buy any more aircraft for a while now until I see things improve.

Someone missing with that has a "contract dispute", no a simple error... that require legal actions

It's disappointing when people assume it's a simple "OK cool, handshake, signed check, resume work." between 2 people.

i'm of a similar mind at the moment tbh, even if razbam is 100% to blame then ED should have safeguards for these kind of situations, disapointing how this can even get to the point that it is right now, customers suffering like its their fault

Contractual disputes are rarely if ever solved in a weekend, especially because most companies do not have legal departments and support teams that work weekends, in the USA, required documents to be notarized etc etc, can only be done Monday->Friday, as required establishments to do so are usually closed on weekends, as are most law firms.

Allow me to correct that statement, as According to RB & RB Devs, It's ongoing for about a year now.
*Exact date was never disclosed, however RB has stated it's going on 10+ months. when it became public.*

Considering the amount of information made public by RB, and the Sum in the Amount of being "The High 6 Figures" it's not a small claim that can be settled over a bottle of Dr. Pepper and some Oreos.

That information is just what RB has disclosed, the validity of those numbers I cannot 100% guarantee, so take it at face value.

No Galinette literally left Razbam and stopped all work for ED and the modules Razbam created for the game. He works for Metrea Simulations now. Classified stuff. Metrea is very well capable of "making a living" when you work for them. 

Which is a damn shame because I just fell in love with the Mirage 2000. And it's buggy af.

I agree, the F-15E is the aircraft that best suits my playstyle. In my group there're lots of players who like to fly coop and not having the F-15E is a big problem.

It's not just “not acceptable”, the whole situation and communication is shockingly unprofessional.

The least they should do is to remove the modules from the stores until this is resolved. They sell stuff that nobody knows whether it will still be usable in a month's time at the moment.

They can be happy that this is going so quietly. I've seen massive sh..storms for much less on the internet.

Thank you! Yes, that was my mistake, as I had previously found Steam to be convenient. I actually wrote to them without any illusions, I was almost sure they wouldn't refund the money. I've never had a problem with two weeks and two hours of game time, but they're pretty critical of anything more than that. All arguments between anyone are hardly of interest to them. I don't even know what options there are for responding to such requests, except asking ED to withdraw the product from sale, but even then it's unlikely to have any effect - time has passed.

All in all, I think it would be right if ED warned at least new users against buying RAZBAM products. And I don't quite understand why it hasn't been done so far - not everyone reads the forums, but M2000, AV8B are already able problems after the patch. I can't say anything about MiG - I don't have this aircraft.
