Another month without an update and worse than that, the polychop doesn't give any satisfaction, we're going back to the days of the gazelle.

"As mentioned before by PC, they're currently working on getting the new input system out. Bug fixes will come with time especially with the big updates to come"

In other words, something could come out next month or in 10 years.

I think the best thing to do is not to expect anything from polychop.

The update may take a long time. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do...

Could they not have released some smaller updates like a fix for the MMS screen cut-offs, or the CTDs with hellfires, or even the suspended in mid-air smoke grenades? Are these fixes so intertwined with everything else that they can't be hotfixed?

It is extremely disappointing to see that, after three months, we still haven’t received a single update for the Kiowa in DCS. The lack of communication from Polychop only adds to the frustration of the community, who, like me, invested time and money expecting a quality product with continuous support. A project of this magnitude demands transparency and constant feedback, which is clearly lacking. If Polychop truly wants the support of the community, it is crucial they improve their communication and show real progress in development. The current situation is disrespectful to the fans who have always supported the company.

Yes! I wish they were more active here though, as I have a strong deep hate for Discord!

Justifed, some DIscord channels are....

But Polychop are very close to people asking on Discord, and very informative.

True, but it's way easier to browse this forum for info compared to wade through chit chat on several Discord servers, and search is nice, while not not knowing to search for. That's what I hate with Discord. Not the people.

The Name of the Game is DCS not Discord. So I expect that the developer will communicate here, as we have an extra thread for them.

If the main communication chanel is Discord, we just should remove all entries here and just put a link to the Discord chanel instead.

Who provided the communication? Was it Polychop, or did someone have to go through their Discord, searching channel by channel to gather screenshots? If you're satisfied with that, good for you, but I'm not. I think Polychop has terrible communication, and in my opinion, it's disrespectful. This situation raises many doubts for me about Polychop. I was pleased with the turnaround they achieved by delivering an excellent Kiowa module, but it seems like they're repeating the same mistakes they made with the Gazelle. I hope they don't take too long with the continuation of the project, and I also hope they get their act together and PROVIDE ACCURATE AND COMPLETE INFORMATION IN A PLACE THAT EVERYONE CAN ACCESS EASILY AND QUICKLY.

I appreciate your collaboration, but I personally have never had much luck on Polychop's Discord; I always received vague answers. It never happens to me, but I have flight buddies who tell me that the devs are very rude when questioned about something.

However, I believe Polychop should change its approach. We are talking about a DCS module, and it's only fair for Polychop to post in the space created for them on the DCS forum. After all, it is a DCS module, isn’t it?"

Look how interesting, on Polychop's Discord there is this channel #oh58d-dev-change-logs, so you enter the channel and look at the last post '— 16/06/2024 04:31'. In other words, the channel that should have information about the development process of the Kiowa/Gazelle is not being updated. Then someone has to go to the general chat and ask the question 'Is anything in oh58d-dev-change-logs making it in this one?' to get this response: 'I learned my lesson with the Gazelle patch that destroyed engines in any desert map. We'd rather have no patch than a buggy patch, and I guess we can all agree on that.' Seriously? Is this how a customer who bought the module and expects constant updates and information on development deserves to be treated? And there are still people saying this is hate. Why wasn’t a complete note with all relevant information posted in #oh58d-dev-change-logs and shared on the ED forum? Why wasn't it done? I would like an answer. It only got a response because someone had to go there and ask.

There are plenty of messages more than that, before. But it is what it is, im not here to change your mind.

The questions i´ve asked there where answered nicely so for me is not a problem to gather information.

Specially when one dev thinks he is doing us customers, a favor.

3 too few, 10 too much. something in between would be nice.

5-7 smoke grenades.

Sweet!

I‘m more concerned with inside cockpit sounds though. They were showcased very briefly only unfortunately. But definitely a welcomed improvement. I‘m excited for the full package.
