I realized that there was never a separate Little Bird thread created when Tobi and Eight Ball started working it.  This might have been a reason for the lack of motivation.  I have posted their progress photos below but as of late they have stopped development.  I feel this was not in the spotlight like it should have been.

If I could ask to pull the community together on this one and bounce over to the OH-6A forum for Tobi and Eight Ball.  They are ceasing all work on their mods to include the Cayuse and the upcoming Little Bird due to lack of motivation.  Not sure if it is lack of motivation internally or from the community, but I thought we could do our best as a community to hold them up and let them know they are wanted and very important to us and our experience in DCS.  I created a video for them providing my support.  I encourage everyone to drop them a line on their forum below and or create a video if that is your thing.  We need guys like this to stick around.  They value is tremendous to this community and they are providing content ED has never touched before in DCS.

IF motivation is the only reason why, guys, dont give up. 

If something more is under the hood just respect they decision guys. Maybe something else is around we dont know.

I respect the need to step back from time to time. The world is going insane right now. I absolutely understand the need for self care. 

 

My only hope is that they are willing to share info if someone is willing to pick up the journey in their footsteps.  

 

I've been in and out of DCS a lot lately given the geopolitical situation in the world right now, and the underlying fear that real conflict is closer than we may all care to admit. 

 

In any case, take care of yourselves guys, and thank you for such an incredible contribution to this game!

Good shout Devil,

I’m hoping it’s a little blip and given a break, maybe they’ll find their mojo again.

The World really is going bananas, never more so for me personally. I haven’t flown anything for quite a while though I did have a little mooch about last night.

I could go on all day gushing about our ‘little bird’. What Tobi & Eightball achieved with it’s amazing. ED should be as grateful as a lot of us are and help them in any way they can. I can’t praise their work enough and I have a lotta love for that little bird. From start to finish it’s been nothing but chuckles and a load of fun. I’d hate to think Tobi & Eightball weren’t sticking around for more of it. Like I said, I hope it’s just a bit of a blip, we need these lads here building us this kind of quality happily. They bring a ray of sunshine into our day and believe me, lately, I need all the sunshine I can get.

Hope their mojo’s back soon.

Yeah, the loss of both Tobi and Eight Ball, and the loss of the MH-6 is nothing short of a tragedy for the entire DCS community. The MH-6 was so eagerly anticipated by so many. It really is devastating. Especially given the volume of work that was already done for this. 

I sincerely hope that after some time off and a bit of fresh air both of them return with high spirits and continue their amazing work. I really hope they manage to see just how many positive and thankful people there are for their work, as opposed to the few muppets that were involved in them burning out and loosing motivation through this all too frequent social media effect - 100 positive comments are forgotten easily but the 3 bad comments stick like glue. There's no way those who were involved in them losing motivation and getting frustrated even account for 0.5% of users.

Personally I'm so devastated over this. This was one of my most anticipated DCS modules/ mods. It's totally heartbreaking. Feels like Razbam all over again. 

@tobi @Eight Ball Please let us know as a community what we can do to help get things back up and running again 🙂
