Because the statement about all 3rd parties should sign the file sharing policy since 2018 is a LIE. well if that were true, then ED could be privy to a class action lawsuit IMO. As much as Id like to agree with you, I dont think thats the case. Esac_mirmidon Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago its easy, they should list all 3rd parties involved, but they are not doing it. Take your conclusions. " You must think in russian.." I have eated enough half bakering to not buy anythng else they do just what every major game developer has been doing for the last 15 years; one should be happy about the fact they dont do micro transactions, but at the very least you see results in a month by month basis, AND they keep the update roadmap transparent. Id rather learn the half baked modules on a cup-by-cup basis rather than the whole firehose all at once. 2 Intel 13900k @ 5.8ghz | 64gb GSkill Trident Z | MSI z790 Meg ACE | Zotac RTX4090 | Asus 1000w psu | Slaw RX Viper 2 pedals | VPForce Rhino/VKB MCE Ultimate + STECS Mk2 MAX / Virpil MongoosT50+ MongoosT50CM | Virpil TCS+/ AH64D grip/custom AH64D TEDAC | Samsung Odyssey G9 + Odyssey Ark | Next Level Racing Flight Seat Pro | WinWing F-18 MIPS | No more VR for this pilot. Dragon1-1 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Well, that's early access for you. Myself, I'm not buying anything until I work through my considerable singleplayer backlog. Given that I'm on a break from DCS lately, this will likely be a while. After that, I will catch up on campaigns for modules that I already own, and then, I will start thinking about buying something new. I'll probably miss out on the 30% discount for the MiG-29, but I'm on Steam, so if I have it at all it'll be a very narrow window. If I happen to have enough money freed up I might go for it, but in this economy I probably won't. 1

Yea, some of us decide to voice an opinion towards improving the world around us. The old 'get out if you don't like it here' argument loops around to asking why you are part of any of the discussion as well. If taken for truth it negates the need to talk about anything and stunts the development and improvement of anything. 10 hours ago, bfr said: Yes, very much so. If you're going to throw money at resurrecting a module you'll want that money being thrown back at you in new sales. So a module that is niche and/or has already sold most of the units it is ever likely to is less attractive. Although if ED are picking them up then less direct benefits (i.e. restoring customer confidence) might also be a considered worthwhile. This is just my opinion, feel free to disagree, but I am convinced that Eagle Dynamics, as a company, simply does not do customer confidence. The interesting question that remains open is: does ED management not understand that concept or have they simply understood that their particular customer base can be wooed again and again regardless? I don't even dare answering that for myself.
Xtorris Posted 28 minutes ago Posted 28 minutes ago I have the A-10A, A-10C, A-10CII, AV-8B, CH-47, F-4 Phantom, F-14 A/B, F-5E, F-86F, MiG-15, MiG-19, F-15C (FC3), Mig-29 (FC3), Su-25, Su-27, Su-33, AH-64D. Black Shark 2, Black Shark 3, Mi-24P, SA342. I'd would LOVE to buy the MiG-29, F-15C, F-16, F-18, Kola, Germany, Sinai, C-130, etc. But why should I? What's to say, you won't have a grievance with another 3rd party developer, or let another of your modules, go by the wayside and slow-roll updates? Of all the modules I own, the Harrier was the only one I enjoyed, and it will soon be non-functional. I have no desire, to invest in your product because you have displayed time after time, you will do the minimum possible to move things forward.

Remind me again how (in some cases) demanding that ED breach any confidentiality agreements between their 3rd party module makers improves the world around us, when there's real conflict that causes death and destruction all around the globe, but the sky is falling .........over a video game ? There's nothing wrong with voicing or having opinions, but when it's been repeated ad nauseum about the current situation as stated on page 1, it's simply not acceptable to some people, I'm old school, been around a number of decades, no business owes me, a consumer of their products, an explanation into how their business model works. Anyone who buys into early access, then bitches and whines about it gets zero sympathy, you knew what you were getting into, and nobody forced anyone to purchase those modules either... its amazing how free will works if you apply it.... if a game/sim irks me so much, I delete it, find something else, why waste valuable time and energy over something you don't have control over? There's more things to worry about in life, than to get stressed out and worked up on a flight sim forum, some folks need to put some perspective into their lives, ease up from the angst, because nothing said in here is going to change Nick Grey, or any other ED stakeholders opinions regarding their business model. So you've given up when "soon" could be 24 months from now? Nobody knows or can predict when they will become non functional, so why not ride that horse until it can't be ridden anymore? There has been ZERO statement by Razbam that they have ended their business relations with ED and will cease all development for DCS world, and as far as I'm aware, Ron Zambrano still has access to ED's SDK, he's never mentioned that all access was removed again... it's not over till the fat lady sings. With regards to Kola/Sinai/Germany, the F18 and F16, all I can say is you're missing out, they're great modules, the AV8B is great to fly around the Kola map.. 2 minutes ago, Nightdare said: If you care about that so much, wouldn't you actively be working to solve those issues, instead of arguing over a videogame on the internet?
