Lets look at it from the other side. Is the development of the MiG-29 (9-12S) planned in much the same way as described in the F-35 FAQ? For use with R-77.

All the information we have to share is in the FAQ

Nobody wants to talk about the R-27EA Alamo C, which actually was into DCS about 20 years ago and removed just because?

Incorrect. The AE was removed not because of user request but because the team knows that the missile has never entered Ru service and it was unrealistic to include it. As simple as that.

And from russian forum, ED has no plans to add the EA, by never enter into the Ru air force. On fact, never use on the Mig-29A (and ED has no building a Ru 9.12).

Then, if the MiG-29A never used ER and ET why incluye them but no EA??

A/EA variant was developed for a while in the 80s (ARH seeker, basically), but at some point further work was abandoned in the late 80s as they focused on the more promising R-77 design.

Because the -ER (-ET) entered service. The -AE did not.

Neither did the nukes on the MiG-21 and we have them anyway 🤣

Realistic does not mean "exactly as the reality", but that could perfectly fit into reality. Giving us the R-27EA for the MiG-29A would be absolutely realistic and plenty of more joy and choices for players and editors.

If someone still do not agree, we will have some funny discussions when capabilities of F-35A FF are fully revealed and someone may talk about "realistic things" 🤣

Sorry by the OT...

Remember, the Mig-21 "nukes" was only a 3rd Party extra from old long times ago first module 3rd party module of DCS W (on fact, the "nukes" has only a very big HE bomb). ED has talk very clear they never go to implement NBQ weapons on DCS, and ED has many years ago are all weapons develop on your hands... If ED dont implement them, none go to make them (include 3rd parties modules weapons). All Mig-29A weapons has make by ED, If ED dont aprove and/or confirm them, none of them will coming to DCS W.

End of OT.

What Variant is the DCS: MiG-29A Fulcrum?
The 9.12A export version of the aircraft. It is primarily based on the MiG-29A flight manual that is available on Amazon.com.

What manual in particular? There's multiple ones available on Amazon.

As the integral part of aircraft, I do not think so.

Perhaps depending on air force, but note that 29 did fly in night conditionsnin combat in 1999.

The opposing force did not have the NVGs in their F-15c either.
