Paco Posted Saturday at 12:15 AM Posted Saturday at 12:15 AM Enduring Patience. You stated in your update that you've been working on this module since 2017. That's eight years! Not sure I would have led with that statement. This is getting a little old. In fact, a lot old. If you cannot finish it, then stop stringing the community along. 1 Paco

Calm down, friend! DCS modules take years to be made because the teams are small and something well done takes a long time. Not to mention that the modules remain in early access forever. So you have to get used to it, because this is not going to change. There is also the issue of many third parties giving up halfway and the module never seeing the light of day. 5 |Motherboard|: Asus TUF Gaming X570-PLUS, |WaterCooler|: Corsair H115i Pro, |CPU|: AMD Ryzen 7 3800X, |RAM|: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB 3200MHz DDR4, |SSD|: Kingston A2000 500GB M.2 NVMe, |SSD|: Kingston 2.5´ 480GB UV400 SATA III, |SSHD|: Seagate Híbrido 2TB 7200RPM SATA III, |GPU|: MSI Gaming 980Ti, |Monitor|: LG UltraWide 34UM68, |Joystick 1|: Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog, |Joystick 2|: T.Flight Rudder Pedals, |Head Motion|: TrackIr 5.

artao Posted Monday at 02:36 PM Posted Monday at 02:36 PM (edited) All I care about is they get the gorram thing done so they can get on with addressing the problems with the MiG-21bis. It is in dire need of some love, being as ancient as it is with zero updates in ... A decade? ... well......... okay, a couple minor cosmetic updates and a bug fix or two. If Magnitude 3 would freakin communicate with players and more often let us know what's happening perhaps we wouldn't get uptight about what's going on. I had lost all hope. I was on the "Mag 3 is defunct" side of the fence. This is mildly heartening. I just hope they DO address the MiG-21bis ASAP rather than move on to another aircraft; what's next in their list? The A-7? I have read some disturbing rumors that they do NOT intend to address the MiG-21bis's issues but rather intend to make a MiG-21bis v2 and ask us all to pay for it again while ignoring the module we DO have. That would .... not be good. I really really hope it's just that, a rumor. Baseless imagination. Get this one done tho so they can move on. This is ridiculous. Edited Monday at 02:37 PM by artao

The amount of money everyone paid for it way back when is long gone. At some point you got to be realistic. If they are going to work on a Fishbed, it's not gonna be free. 1

The same happened with the Ka-50 v3, A-10C v2 and F-5E v2. I will pay as long as the upgrade cost is the same as the upgraded modules. 10 to 15 dollars. 6 |Motherboard|: Asus TUF Gaming X570-PLUS, |WaterCooler|: Corsair H115i Pro, |CPU|: AMD Ryzen 7 3800X, |RAM|: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB 3200MHz DDR4, |SSD|: Kingston A2000 500GB M.2 NVMe, |SSD|: Kingston 2.5´ 480GB UV400 SATA III, |SSHD|: Seagate Híbrido 2TB 7200RPM SATA III, |GPU|: MSI Gaming 980Ti, |Monitor|: LG UltraWide 34UM68, |Joystick 1|: Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog, |Joystick 2|: T.Flight Rudder Pedals, |Head Motion|: TrackIr 5.

We've been waiting quite awhile. When I bought the MiG-21 like 2 yrs ago I was unaware of its issues. Now that I know, well .. I wish I'd known then. I still enjoy flying it, but there's always the "It's not right" in my head while doing so. Any updates to what now exists tho? No payment. Updates have been LONG coming, and it'll take likely a five-plus years for them to come out with a new MiG-21 module. Edited Monday at 09:02 PM by artao typo, clarification
Joe1978 Posted Monday at 09:31 PM Posted Monday at 09:31 PM I'd pay for a Mig21 upgrade right now, but I can see both sides of the coin here: Having already four aircraft without developer support (RB), and with Mag being so uncommunicative (and not very proactive resolving some issues), questioning the purchase of one of its modules (including the F4U) is like a leap of faith... although that's what DCS is all about. My advice: enjoy the MiG-21 as it is. We have great maps right now. It can do almost everything it was designed to do. .
