correct as is Su-33, able to retract nose gear while deployed on ground

While re-learning the Su-33, I was able to retract the nose gear while on the ground:

I mean, your rear wheels likely tried to retract as well but couldn’t do to the force of the mass of the jet

Afair RuAF jets don't feature any mechanism to prevent it. They rely on the pilot's sanity.

Best thing to do would be to add a modifier, like 'Ctrl' to the combo.

Now I know what the difference is. In my screenshot, the engines are idling. In yours, you hadn’t spooled up yet. So there was insufficient hydraulics to raise the mains.

Yeah fair enough. I haven't touched the Su-33 in years (along with everything else), but it's surprising you can do that though, I would have thought that was impossible.
