The F/A-18. I started with the A-10C and thought it was excellent. I don't do MP or VR, so having an aircraft like the F/A-18 with a lot of depth and learning potential has been great. Also there are so many SP campaigns and missions available.

I fly modules in chunks usually. As of late mostly Corsair and Phantom, Mirage F1 also gets a lot of hours, but I think the overall most hours (not current necessarily) I have in the Mi-8.

I have an unhealthy number of hours in the Chinook and quite a few in the Mi-8 and Huey. I recently picked up the Kiowa and I’m really starting to like it. I have the least hours in the Apache, but suddenly (after a year or so) it "clicked" with me and I finally started to really enjoy it. From fixed-wing, I fly the A-10C II and the Phantom

Mainly Phantom, Hornet and Huey. Own a few more modules I would love to fly. However... if a day had few more hours...

I have been watching a lof of documentaries about WW2 bomber crews lately, and got the urge to buy the FW-190 A8, so I did yesterday.

The FW-190 A8 was the A-10C of WW2, armed with four 20 mm canons (!) and built like a tank. Looking forward to attack bomber formations, strafing airfields and ships 🙂

You should rethink both. VR of course is quite expensive but multiplayer is for free. I don´t think of PvP clusterf*ck but of flying with a squadron. You will learn so much more so much quicker and its pure joy. There are tons of squadrons out there, from the most casual ones to quite mean milsim enthusiasts. Should be one out there for you.

I think most know that MP can be cool but have their own reasons not to go that way, ex. because of comms or need for schedule.

Maybe, and if its not for him, thats totally fine. But I know some, including myself who did not know what they were missing. So I wave the sign, just as I do for VR, but its just a hint.

AH-64 (the whole reason I got into DCS all those years ago), A10CII, F-16.

Recently discovered the new UH-60L v2.0 mod and been really enjoying that.

The Su-25 and Mi-24P, sometimes other helicopters. I've found I've been flying DCS less in 2024/2025.

However, I've been disappointed by the overall support levels for Soviet aircraft and was quite disappointed by FC4 (I felt some of the systems were broken by design). I'm also thinking of largely giving up on the Soviet platforms, flying the A-10C more and maybe picking up the F/A-18C. I might also put some more time into the Viggen or pick up the F1 someday, but I feel I'm drifting away over time.

Since I bought the FF mig 29, I've brought the L39 and Mi24 out the hanger for the first time in years. Fully enjoying re-learning all the eastern ways of flying over the germany map.

Bought the L-39 during the last sale and I keep finding myself loading it up. The C version, no gunsight or weapons. Just flying for the sake of flying and navigating and takeoffs and landings. Really enjoying it.
