That's also possible, of course... Specifically, I managed to update DCS but not to install the C130, as that's locked behind the login procedure...

Can confirm update working flawlessly, yet unable to login to account when starting the launcher.

Updated without logging in, it rolled "back" to v XXX.17790 (from 17792), now it logs in correctly, downloading C130 now!

Please try a repair and update again, there was a version issue initially that may have created a problem for some users.

I tried, but it said that the version I was trying to repair wasn't available, and that I should consider updating. I did run the updater now. Should I still do a repair when it's finished?

After updating and install C130 unable to use VR. checked all files and done a repair plus checked VR settings still no luck

Yes it seems a version number issue created some problems, a repair and update should fix it.

There seems to be an issue when using the raytracing option on the C-130 and VR, it is reported

Some issues have been found and we are working on some fixes, but it is unlikely to be today, more likely early next week. 
 

Q: My game is crashing/messed up somehow visually:

• Turn off the raytracing special option on the C-130
• If you have an older GPU ( GTX for example ) Do not use the ray tracing special option on the C-130
• VR Quad views. Turn off the raytracing on the C-130, and remove unofficial mods or you will get a view in only one eye

 

Q: I cannot load cargo

•  In autoexec.cfg, if you have disable_write_track = true. Remove that line, and it will work. 

This wont be necessary after the hotfix, I will give you a new patch date as soon as I can.
