On the red side , you already got SU-27 , SU-33 , Mig-29 which have fast attack capability . Blue dont have fast attack capability at all . Things need to be balanced out .

 

I played an organised multi player game last year , almost 50 simers , when red saved their strike package for a fast attack strike with SU-27 , and it worked .

 

Blue need a fast attack capable aircraft . End of .

 

2 players in one aircraft sounds cool ..... only trouble I can forsee with that one is we all would want a go at flyin it . but I reckon it would be cool , just have to find your GIB :)

 

I say F-15E , or F-18E ..... or even a Tornado .

Although I can see a 2 seater fun it wouldn't last like I said people come here to fly not hitch a ride somewhere to activate weapons systems for them. If a 2seater could be flown by 1 person I'm guessing they would have just put one seat in. Although exciting it would get very boring very fast. I could see it possibley working in an apache as the passenger would have much more to do. But I belieive People want it because its new, New=exciting.

 

We will probe see f15-f18 for next us DCS I think. But after that would be nice to see a yank chopper and a revamp of the toad. Then perhaps venture into su27-33 and maybe f16. I know loads of people who have DCS A10 and say its pretty but still an A10.

 

We shouldntu forget where we came from and that all this is possible now because of lomac and some people have fallen in love with some of the classics, it would be nice to have full 6dov and full functionality on what was and still is one of the world most successful close air support (not a bomber) aircraft, of coarse thats just my opinion.

Yes, because anti-shipping, CAS, SEAD, A2A, escort, and everything in between is just boring. Why not do an F-15E instead? Oh yeah...same thing. F-16? Same thing. F-35? Same thing. F-14? Same thing...except more aircraft falling apart for no reason other than its an F-14. So lets make them do an Su-33! Oh yeah....same thing.

 

How about a B-1R study sim instead? Its relatively the same thing, but hey...4 ppl and more bombs!

 

There is one thing the F-15E can do that the F/A-18 can't: Look awesome.

 

 

 

Oh, and fly straight up without falling out of the sky, and fly more than a hundred miles without tanking thirty-three times, but that's just getting pedantic :D

Looking awesome is a matter of opinion, Frosty. Flying straight up without falling out of the sky? ... check. Fly more than a hundred miles without tanking 33 times? ... check.

By the way, out of curiosity, why can't the F-15C in FC2 accelerate straight up? I even took all the gun ammo and countermeasure buckets out and flew on half a tank and I still lost speed in a vertical climb. Something's wrong with your game.

The correct technique is to accelerate to M0.8~0.9 on the deck, then point the nose straight up. It will accelerate until it reaches such an altitude (won't take long) that the thrust from the engines decreases below 1:1 TWR.

 

The game is fine, and matches the -1 power curves fairly well.

Was wondering why he was flying the same path as the road. :D Would love to be driving through nevada and see an A10 doing same flight path. Stupid up tight military laws and stuff in this country. :pilotfly:
