Bah, I checked Dell this morning and they were $600+ with 1-2 weeks wait! Guess the re-directed French shipments are finally coming in. :)

Obviously you have no idea how shipping distribution works. Just because Guillemot has their offices in France means absolutely nothing for distribution. 99% of Chinese good's are taken directly from Chinese port warehouses via container ship to resale country. It would be incredibly inefficient and wasteful to ship Chinese products to some warehouse in France only to need to get back on another ship for other countries.

 

You are correct, I do not know how shipping ditribution works. Nor do I care....especially when it pertains to something as trivial as a joystick. lol

 

With regards to WH ordering, if I re-pre-order, I think I might go with Dell. I have worked with them a lot in the past and I get a discount on their products through my job.

 

Sort of wish ShopBLT would drop their prices back to their original pre-order price.

lol I canceled mine anyways they still don't have any for California west coast side. I see they changed to from west coast in-stock to none -43 to East coast in stock and only -3 on back order.

But you guys need to chill cause it always takes time for distribution channels to work out, plus you can bet it's not being manufactured in overly large quantities is my guess.

Hmm that's odd, at BLT the back ordered number and number incoming keeps dropping. Either a ton of people are cancelling their orders or they are actually getting ready to ship the first preorder portion.

 

I haven't received an email nor credit card charged so I don't know.

Several folks saw a status change in their email link, from ETA=Past Due to ETA=In Stock. Mine still says ETA=Past Due when I click on the link in my email. I guess I ordered too late to get in the first batch.

Not sure what's going on. I somehow doubt that almost 100 people have cancelled their pre-orders, but I'm not sure they're shipping either. At the time I placed my order (October 25ish), there were something like 55-60 pre-orders inline. If they really are preparing to ship a batch, I should be in line (from they're 117 preorders at one point to 46 now gives 71...well over 55-60th place I should be in line). However, all my ETA did was change from "none" to "15 business days".
