DCS World and FC3

Hi

how to install dcs A-10 warthog v 1.1.1 and Black shark 2 v 1.1.1 to dcs world .After I installed dcs world 1.2 can I only see the alternativ buy icons for black shark 1.2.0 and A-10c 1.2.0 ?

 

You need the compatible modules. Download them from here and install. Your current keys will work.

 

Note: Make sure to DL the correct version (upgrade or full) for BS2.

In the past several months I got introduced and started learning how to play DCS A-10c, the more I play it the more I love this game. Just bought my TrackIR a few weeks ago and now I also owned BlackShark 2 and P-51. DCS has been what I've been waiting for and now flaming cliffs 3. I haven't played any lock-on games since the first one, now that I know what a great team of developers ED has. There is no question that I'm getting Flaming cliff 3.

 

Since I found a excuse [my joystick broke :joystick:, been playing with 360 controller:doh:] I'm saving up for a Hotas Warthog.:thumbup:

Yep , be great to have F-15 , Migs & Su's along with A-10C and KA-50 ..... plus whatever eventually comes along ..... it will be a real arena .

 

Im really looking forward to this FC3 ..... brings it all together , and isnt that what we all want at the end of the day .

Could someone, with accurate knowledge, explain the last three points?

ie Resource Manage, Extended Theatre and Countless other inprovements.

 

Are these to the DCS: World?

Will these be available as part of any future DCS:World update/s, or does the end user have to buy the FC3 to obtain these??

I can tell you that the extended theatre is the change from the FC2 map to the DCS World map.

The only annoying thing is we need to buy and install the original lock on (which many people don't have) that will essentially just sit itself down on your hard drive and sit there like an over talkative aunty at a dead relative's funeral: you want to wipe it off completely, but you need it to be there.

 

Where can we buy and download lockon online for cheap? Will there be a package price for both of them?

 

On another note: totally excited for the game's release. Now we can finally have dogfights worth talking about instead of spamming mavericks at each other.

No new 3D model for Su-27, SU-33, Mig-29?

 

Really? So difficult to share some previous work like 3Go Su-27 or Su-33 Combate Ace into DCSW?

 

It´s a shame having so wonderful DCSW enviroment with the same stoneage 3D old models for russian birds.

 

Please, understand me, i´m very happy to have FC3 integrated into DCSW, is a great movement but i was expecting a little effort with 3D models.

 

We have wonderful Su-25, A-10, F-15,P-51 and Ka-50 models. The lack of new ones for Su´s and Mig´s are really dissapointing.

I was disappointed, i have hope we can have a new FC aircraft, maybe the Tornado, or the fun to have something like the B1, or even the F-18/F-16 or a FC Helicopter, or any new flyable aircraft...

Except the new F-15 cockpit and 3D model (3D model who will maybe be the one we have actually in DCS World who anyways don't need update) only the copy of the FC2 aircraft was done for an integration into DCS World and just some new features, i was really disappointed to see no new aircraft AND a really long time for a simple adaptation into DCS World from FC2, its too many long for what we will have, mainly for this price...

 

And like say Esac_mirmidon why community (hard) work was ignored and no 3D model was imported, we have a lot of really great 3D model who just wait that, not only the SU-27/33

 

Except if a gain money or the price of FC3 was corrected, i don't will buy it, its just an upgrade of FC2 and not a new product, the price of a full game was really expensive...

A small but very vocal(loud) members here scream for F-18's however those images of the F-15 surely say realistically the F-15 is alot closer to reality then most other birds.

 

hope to see the F-15A/B/C become a DCS title in the near future.

 

FC3 will surely create a complex environment to fly in, can't wait!!!
