Xeno426 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Might those bomblets be a little too high poly?
Double_D Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Might those bomblets be a little too high poly? I don't think they are DCS model's can use a fairly high polycount now.. Xeno426 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I was thinking in terms of performance. There's going to be lots of those little babies on release, and reducing poly count on them would reduce overhead.

True..but most bombers only allowed to drop a few bombs..found that out while doing some off the record test of the B-17 But I could be all totally wrong here..I am very very new to 3d modelling.. NRG-Vampire Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Might those bomblets be a little too high poly? no with lod models, you will see the highest poly model only if you go very close by the camera from a distance you will see only a few tris good gob Dragon
joey45 Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 For the bomblets instead of a sphere, makea box and use NURMS Subdivsion be easier topology and probably less poloys... Silver_Dragon Posted September 16, 2014 Author Posted September 16, 2014 (edited) Ok, other update of the Pr.183 Bridge... (sorry if that as tedious / repetitive). I request for the community. I have a little trouble over the real forward bridge engine panel, I model the bridge to attach the torpedo sight and the other instrument (orange / red box), next to the radar scope, and I think that no match with some Pr183 pics I see on a modelding Russian forum.
