I just posted a Huey video to Youtube using DTAC. It's at night but you get the idea!

Great mod btw.

Sorry, but like you said that is at night and I cannot see the terrain. Can I ask why you didn't just do a day one?

I just downloaded the zip and tried to install it, but I think I am doing something wrong. All that happened when I unzipped it to where it was supposed to be unzipped, is that it created five folders alongside the original zips. I guess I am suppose to zip inside a zip or something, is this correct? Can someone explain the install a little better? Thanks!!

INSTRUCTIONS : Back up the .zip files mentioned below before you do anything (if you have backed up once prior to initially modifying these files then this all that is required). Place each season texture in its proper .zip file. Located in the C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\Terrain\vfstextures. When asked to replace and overwrite do so.

Hi,

I dont wanna be a smartass, but why don't you just read post Nr. 1 in this thread? There you will find a guideline how to install the Mod. It is as easy as that. Just read :)

Cheers

No offence taken, but if you read my earlier post you would see I had already tried to do what you have highlighted. I asked for a better install guide because all this method does is create folders in that directory and it leaves the zip files untouched. I then asked if I am some how supposed to zip inside a zip if that is even possible. It also seems that other guys is having the same problem as me since he wrote +1. So it's not only me not getting it.

Drag and drop the contents ( inside the folders) from the mod zip to the corresponding DCS zip files ( see first post). No placing one zip file, itself, inside the other zip files.

So you have to unzip the original zips first to place the modded files in, correct? Do you then just zip them back up or leave them unzipped?

Nothing to unzip.

Simply open the Mod Zip and the Target Zip per Mouse Click, go through the Folders of each Zip until you find the File which you want to change, and drag the File from the Mod Zip into the Target Zip. The Zip Program will ask you to overwrite, click yes, and you´re done. :)

I´m using 7zip btw.

@rockwelder

This looks nice, thanks.

Save your files without an Alpha layer as DXT1 with mipmaps.

They shouldn't be larger than 10mb.
