If FSX TacPack SDK Released :) Or not...

Let me get something clear here..

We dont use tack pack

we are not even looking to use tack pack.

We have working ordnance in FSX since 2006, way before VRS, sure it was just on missions, but we had matching visuals with it.

We have free flight working ordnance in FSX since 2010, with booms! and blams!, ordnance that affects the flight model and it´s truly independent from the model, hits the ground and leaves a mark there

We have a working gun (not effects) since 2011, we even have a Chukar drone being an AI model, with set able flight path, launched from your aircraft in Volume III of the A-7´s.

We have working radar, AA/AG, we even have a working terrain avoidance radar, with real imagery on the screen.....all this in FSX...

The only (and sole) reason why we don´t add guided weapons in FSX is that there is absolutely no use for them in a "sterile" environment. We create weapons since we like to simulate an aircraft as close as possible, with all the steps necessary prior to launch a weapon, for instance, in our A-7´s, you have all the modes, selections, and options per weapon prior to even launch it.

we don´t need Tack Pack

we were there before Tack Pack.

And while it seems and sounds like a truly remarkable add on, whenever it´s going to be relased (or not) we really don´t care about tack pack, since we simply don´t need it, and never did.Kudos to VRS and Tack Pack, but not our game, we create our stuff in-house, to meet our own demands.

Regarding DCS and weapons.

We are planning to use DCS´s weapons, no need to reinvent the wheel, and i presume it will be easier for multiplayer engagements.

Best regards

Will the FSX version be able to fire missiles? Or drop bombs? Or will these functions first be introduced in DCS World version?

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Do you by any chanse have a HD video showing the 3D cockpit of the RAZBAM A-7K/TA-7/EA-7L Corsair II Volume 3? I guess that is the most current aircraft in your set?

There is no dates on the product release on your site. That may be the only reason I have not bought any of them.

Yes but in the above list I see no mention of full mp combat capability which is the whole point of Tacpac. I see you're not interested in it at this stage but it won't be so sterile with FSX@war. So if and when Tacpac gets an SDK don't rule it out otherwise no mp combat capability.

Well, I'm happy that RAZBAM are developing for DCS. I'll definitely be buying these products in their DCS iteration. Hope you guys branch out and develop for X-Plane as well! ;o)

Wishlist Terrains - Bigger maps

Wishlist Modules - A variety of utility aircraft to better reflect the support role. E.g. Flying the Hornet ... big yawn ... flying a Caribou on a beer run to Singapore? Count me in. Extracting a Recon Patrol from a hastily prepared landing strip at a random 6 figure grid reference? Now yer talking!

That is a thing of beauty. If you guys can nail the flight model it will be THE add on for DCS

LOL funny you mention this, because i tried once, and it´s definitely too much of a hassle for such a small return..

The SH is its own refueling aircraft.

If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.

As explained before they'll get a section when they show their aircraft in DCS World.

Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing

"Once we have a proof of concept up and running in DCS, RAZBAM will have their own set of forums."

What exactly defines POC in ED terms? I do not see anything that states imported model, or functional aircraft?

Where did you see this definition Jona?

I think it's time for Third Party Projects --> RAZBAM simulations forum's section. ;)

I guess I need to clarify a bit. "it" does not mean model, or functional air frame, nor does it define EDs requirements.

Forgive me now if my observations are wrong:

IRIS, from what I can tell does not have any of there birds in DCS. They recently stated that the Tomcat is going to be first due to the AFM hurdles with the F22 and the F15 Echo becoming an ED bird.

No shots of the Mig-21 in DCS at this time.

The Hawk is the only one that I believe has been imported and looks great. I am excited for the Typhoon also.

Yet all 3 of these project developers have forums. Razbam has not stated which one of their birds is first, so how does the term "it" define or answer the question?

Hopefully it is the Corsair.

I am looking for a definitive answer and not speculation. Nothing more, nothing less.

It is great that you are willing to speak up, but the question needs someone in the know to answer. impressive number of posts thou.
