Jona33 Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 (edited) You realise they are the same aircraft don't you? Even though one has a radar and the other doesn't and even the number of weapons pylons is different and looking at RAZBAM's model there's no screen in the nose which I believe houses a LST. Edited August 11, 2012 by Jona33 Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing

joey45 Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Can't wait for it to say GR-9.. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Pyroflash Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Can't wait for it to say GR-9.. Yeah, even though I am American, I want the GR-9 just that little bit more over the AV-8B II+, so I hope it will be worth the wait. If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.
aaron886 Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 Yeah, even though I am American, I want the GR-9 just that little bit more over the AV-8B II+, so I hope it will be worth the wait. Not here... I want something that still flies off LHDs!
Pyroflash Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 That's true, never thought about it that way. Okay, more likely than not I will get both of them, especially if the American one comes with an added boat-nus hehe, get it? :D (DCS needs more boats. Our Yacht club is far too tiny :() If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.
joey45 Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 The GR-9 have a less powerful engine then the Modeled in game... The GR-9/A had the upgraded one from the AV-8B. We didn't have to use the ski jump but it helped. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. sapo Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 I would like the F-15E strike eagle as it is my favourite, and if you could do it a dual seat in multi player it would be just great! PS:I haven't red the 47 pages, so if i am saying something twice forgive me :)
joey45 Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 So would a lot of other people. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Pyroflash Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 I sure hope it is, two DCS standard F-15E's can only breed competition which will end up bringing out some REAL quality. If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.

Exorcet Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 IRIS confirmed that their Eagle is DCS level. This Eagle might be lower fidelity. I don't know for sure of course, but I kind of feel it would make more sense for devs to develop unique aircraft at this point since there is so much to add. The one exception to that would be if one plane is insanely popular.
