joey45 Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 LoLz. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. "Me, the 13th Duke of Wybourne, here on the ED forums at 3 'o' clock in the morning, with my reputation. Are they mad.." https://ko-fi.com/joey45
PeterP Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 (edited) OK Guys - I used my "really super advanced coding" skills to compile a image for all that are not able to read Nate's code properly. It looks similar like this - First images of the WIP engine management: (source code: http://www.simhq.com/_air13/air_428a.html ) Edited June 22, 2012 by PeterP
ED Team Wags Posted June 22, 2012 ED Team Posted June 22, 2012 Visually (screen shots), there is not much, if any, to really update. Mostly work continues on the items listed here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=87556 But I can say that I am quite happy now with the cockpit shake, AI Mustang dogfighting is much improved, and heat / oil management is getting a lot of attention. PeterP Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 (edited) Nice early warning of an impending accelerated stall! -Hallelujah! FFB ! - ehm... I'm a little concerned how you implemented firing the gun... Sorry to pull your leg , but can you have a glimpse look at this : Fine-tune FFB gun effect for the Su-25T So when the hell brakes lose while firing the guns - can there be a option added to only tune down a specific effect? ...I hope I won't have the same problems in P-51D:) Edited June 29, 2012 by PeterP

Ingame DCS:World > options > controls > P-51Dreal - Axis. And delete all double-assignment ! DCS maps by default all controls to a added controller. So you can use the "clear category" command to delete all default assignment and than map it to the axis you need. - this method will ensure you that you are really aware what every controller does in-game. Its a standard procedure for me after each new install - I have 7diffrent controllers attached - so "clear category" is a real time saver - IMHO it's much quicker than erasing it manually.
