Any link or tutorials to change the CH Fighterstick into the setup you have?

Posted (edited)
That's a modified CH Fighterstick. On a related note, why the two seats?

Edit: Link to their website: http://www.chproducts.com/Fighterstick-v13-p-181.html#4

Well if there ever comes time for multi seat, would like to conduct student instructor type trainer scenario with friends over. And yes its a ch fighterstick!! I built them two years ago.. 3 month project? Once I found 10 lbs sprigs, it was complete

I am looking forward to it as well, especially since it is a small heli, can't wait to see how nimble it is. :)

Yep, and one with a unique role that we haven't really had yet

As a target drone for T-72/80/90's missiles?

I'm looking forwards to the Gazelle since it's one of the most produced antitank choppers ever made and I'm eager for a new tank busting chopper in general. But I don't see it doing anything the Ka-50 can't do a whole lot better.

KA 50 is more deadly for sure! The fun from the gazelle will stem from the unique weapon it uses and its unique handling characteristics

Incredible work!

Thank you sir! challenging and fun to build.. but feels so good to sit in such a hardware, i dont believe i was able to do it.

most definitely!

i wish there was an AH-6 little bird, so the gazelle will be a substitute! :) the BO-105 is amazing too, especially after the James Bond Spectre movie release.

Contrary to the Ka-50, the Gazelle can engage tanks at night.

I am going to be a buyer of the Gazelle....absolutely. I will enjoy learning its systems and operations. However, like other recent module releases, I worry about its overall contribution to the sandbox. The aircraft that are being released have very limited roles. As a result, the community has become fragmented.

Hi Hannibal,

Wow, that is all I can say.

I thought about such setup for myself, but never dared to ask if it would be possible at all.

I wrote you a PM

About the AH6, my documents do not state how it uses the hellfires, so for me it only has 2 weapons at the moment in use I know of.

Miniguns and rockets.

The hellfire is supposed to be usable with the MH6, which also has MFDs that might be used for the EOS used in the nose, which is not the AH6.

So we have to distinguish the versions here, unfortunately.

YES the Gazelle can use its weapon at night :D

Never had any major problems with the Ka-50's vikhrs at night. Requires manual target tracking unless illumination rockets/flares are used, but otherwise it's fine. But that does raise a question, does our upcoming model of the Gazelle have FLIR?

Regarding the AH-6, do you have documents for an AH-6 or an MH-6 (or MD500 for that matter)? Just curious, might explain the lack of explanation for the hellfires. That little chopper has been around forever and has a fair number of variants with wildly different capabilities.

Never had any problems with the Ka-50 at night so I don't know why you guys think the Gazelle is more appropriate for night hunts. Besides, you've got the Vikhrs!!! No anti tank missile is better than that!!! Don't tell me the hellfire is. It's good as hellfire but not better than the Vikhr which costs less, outranges the Hellfire and flies faster etc.

I haven't flown the KA-50 at night in a while but IIRC it's very hard to see somthing on the Shkval at night. That's no suprise though, since it's not designed for night usage as far as I know. So if the Gazelle has real night fighting capability, that would indeed be an advantage over the KA-50.

Yes it has real night fight abilities, do to the fact that you can change the FLIR and can see targets at night and the missile is wired it is not dependand on any light situation .

Now *that* is awesome.

Always wished that ED had modeled the Ka-50 Nighthunter because it simply doesn't work at night as it is right now.
