I had my first flying MINUTES in FC3 ...

 

the F15C pit looks stunning ! great work ! (I got somehow the imagination that the takeoff and landing model hasnt changed though?)

 

cant wait for the MP fun to come.

Man! Thats worrisome. I hope no matter what makes it or not into the final release, the take off and landing dynamics are improved from the sticky tire syndrome. Its one thing modders can't change. (I would assume). Models... yeah....we b*tch and moan...but well..physics is something else...a lot more important in a sim.

I don`t know if this is DCS BS2 update...but It was funny to see the AI actually land after being hit. lol

From what I've heard, FC3 was a miss. I expected at least updated skins for all the flyable aircrafts with outdated skins. Gonna go back waiting for beczl's MiG, the Huey, and the next official module.

Same here I hope the MiG 21 will have AFM and I will get the other Aircraft module only if added with AFM.. :) FC3 is a disaster to me.

We do have fantastic P51, a fabulous A10 and a great SU-25T ( SU-25 A should be easy to add as well since it does have AFM ) and a new 3D cockpit should be a total blast and of-course a great KA-50 :)

If you don't like FC2 as it is today then you most lightly will not like FC3 so don't buy it. If you like FC2 and want to fly a fastmover in the DCS World environement you will like FC3. This update will shorten the wait for EDs new F/A-18 release.

I think its just the fact that we are spoilt by ED's newer generation of simulation models. After such a long break, going back to the FC level...even with the nice shiny F-15C cockpit...still feels very artificial when compared to the A-10C, Su25, Su25T or BS. But well... I'll be satisfied if they give us the dynamic landing/takeoff physics. It feels so much more nicer with the AFM birds...almost like landing on stilts the way its supposed to be. But in FC3, landing with any of the other flyables is like velcro attaching to ground.

I personally dig any FC ... Getting decent F-15, MiG-29 in the DCS world? thumbs up. My favorite fancies are Fulcrum & Flanker, for Flanker i believe we will soon be able to slip-on the great third party model and eye-candy available for FC2 so me happy. (same with the A-10A , which 80's style i prefer over A-10C :P. Hope only there was some nice HiRes makeover of its pit like the nice ones available for FC2 F-15 & Flanker)

 

It would be great if all the old low-poly models of FC would had been or to be replaced with updated ones, on par with the DCS world level of 3D models. Maybe they have? I havent gotten the FC3 yet, i will wait for the boxed version (i will support the boxed editions market as much as i can, even if i buy download will always get also boxed)

Oh, and adding to what I said before, instead of improving skins and 3D models, how awesome would it be if someone made AFM mods for these fighters? [is this possible? Someone is working on a AFM F-16, could be tweaked for the other fighters]

 

I guess maybe that might sound unfair to those who really want their favorite planes to look like the F-15 does, but I would trade the F-15 model for the LOMAC one to get AFM.

Thanks ED for releasing BETA version of FC3 for us instead of having to wait for the final release. We are finally able to enjoy all the goodies of DCS world in FC aircraft and for me mainly the Su-25s :)

I don't understand how ED is thinking, I say bias **** Why make the F-15 when the next DCS fighter will be American one,, It would be more reasonable to make Russian cockpit upgrade since the Russian fans will have to wait much longer for DCS product. DISAPOINTED!!!!!!!

 

ED knew before we did how many f-15 moders there were out. compared to Su-27 or Mig-29. ED made very bad move and I see you as bias company form now on.

 

Bay the way, The F-15 model is incredible I love it, How missile behave is much better then in FC2, good work on that, why not finish it?

Because you will sell the product anyway? Yes you did, but 40% are not happy costumers.
