Will Missions work in FC3, which was made in current version of DCS:World?

As is always the case between respective versions - there are no guarantees. They might, but then again, they might not.

My last two deaths have been from low flying F-15's, no warning, just f11 screen of death. :surrender:

You were flying same altitude? Often missiles aproach from either below or above your aircrafts plane when hit without warning. Warning recievers have very restrictive fields of coverage in this SIM and they can be blind when there are altitude differences between aircrafts, or when your manuevering by rolling the aircraft you can inadvertedly put the missiles in blind spots.

Noobs fly low all the time in 27/29/33's. Oh and also Hackers I've noticed. ;)

That's what I meant. It's like starting a fight on your knees hoping for a desperate uppercut.

AMRAAM goes unnoticed sometimes in such conditions. By the way great work Frostie on the 51st server. Solid display ;)

First of all: the red side, no F-15, then it is unlikely to be a Amraam, rather a r-77 (MIG-29s).

I find it very unbalanced, (red vs blue) level elections in some missions with respect to payload, is completely arbitrary without conforming to reality. -

Medium altitude in a packed server, I know how my Beroyza works, RWR blind spots, that's the breaks. Just pointing out that not just Russian birds fly low effectively, the F15 flood mode is very useful. ;)

There's more than just the obvious to consider. Fuel usage is something else... endurance. Flying around <1,000 metric destroys your endurance. Also, at this altitude you hand over more too much to Lady Luck. Some might find this a 'fun' way to fly. Also.... there is a psychological thing about it too. The human mind, in Sims, likes to see the green out front aswell all the time. It doesn't like seeing just blue. Makes it less comfortable to get a feeling for orientation. I've often wondered why newer pilots always seem to fly around a same level. It's because they still see stuff on the ground outside the HUD. They don't have an altitude figure in their head. Just happens naturally. I expect newer Mig pilots fly lower because of the lower set seating in the pit aswell.

i understand we won't have 3d improvements on some of the airctaft, like the su-27 and mig-29. what about specular maps for the existing models? i'm sure it would make them look better, specially the mig-29, which has a pretty good 3d shape..and a canopy glass too for the cockpit it would be awesome..
